Part 9

Roli made anjali eat her dinner.

Roli & Siddhant had dinner looking at each other when the other doesn't look.

ROli took Anjali to her room and made her sleep.

Roli who got up to go to her room was worried to leave the small baby alone.

Siddhant was reading some booking sitting in the hall sofa.

ROli went to him.

ROli: Sir..

Sid: Yes Ms. ROli.

Roli: Anjali slept on her room. But i am worried to leave her alone and sleep in my room.

Sid: Ok.

ROli: If you dont mind, shall i sleep with her itself.

Siddhant smiled.

Sid: As i told you already, i dont think there is any need for you to ask me to sleep with Anjali. Yes you require to ask me if you wish to sleep with me.

He said with a mischief smile and look with a wink.

ROli blushed.

Roli: Sir...

Sid: Just kidding.

Roli rushed into Anjali room and locked the door.

His words were running on her mind.

She blushed.

ROli was wondering, WHy i am blushing on his such talk while i was suppose to get angry?

She was not getting answer for it.

Roli was not getting sleep in various thoughts.

She was looking for the time it was around 1 AM.

Roli closed her eyes to atleast start sleeping now as she need to go to college the next day and also need to take care of Anjali too.

WHen she was getting sleep... She heard Anjali crying voice...

ROli got up.

She found Anjali wake up and started crying sitting in the bed.

ROli took anjali on her lap and tried to convince her.

But her cry was not getting control.

Roli: Anjali you wish to have anything. Are you feeling hungry?

Anjali nod her head as No.

ROli: THen you feel thirsty?

Anjali nod her head as No.

ROli was wondering what should be the reason for her sudden cry.

She looked whether any insect bite or anything like that.

But she was not finding any such too.

WIth crying sound Siddhant too reach Anjali room.

Roli: Thank God you have come. I was wondering why she is crying like this.

Sid: It is her usual.

ROli:What???

Sid: yes. She cries like this only daily night.

ROli: You dont know the reason.

He nod his head as No.

ROli was wondering, how father can be so careless without knowing the reason for his child cry.

ROli looked at ANjali.

She wiped her tears.

Roli: Anjali dear! You should not. We are here right. Look at me.

Anjali with her cry looked at ROli.

Roli: Anjali, now tell me why are you crying? You want anything? then tell me.

Anjali: Mamma... Mamma...

ROli was stunned hearing this words from the baby..

Not only ROli Siddhant was equally stunned...

Part 10

Roli hug Anjali and console her.

She caresses her back and made her stop her cry...

Anjali finally slept on her shoulders..

Roli slowly put her in the bed.

She wiped her tears from her face and kissed on her forehead.

She covered her with a blanket and came out of the room.

Roli eyes were filled with tears.

SIddhant who was sitting in the sofa followed ROli and came behind her.

SIddhant looked at her tears and gave some water to her.

Roli: Thanks.

Roli drank that water and sat in the hall sofa.

Siddhant too sat in the sofa with some distance.

Sid: Ms. ROli...

ROli was not getting words.. She adjusted her throat.

Roli: Yes sir..

Sid: Why got emotional suddenly?

Tears scroll down her cheeks.

Roli: Sir, i was unable to bear the grief of the child missing her mother.

Sid: I do understand. But is it the only reason for your tears.

ROli nod her head as No.

Roli: I remembered my ...

She cried.

He moved near her..

He wrapped his hands around her.

ROli lean on his shoulders and started crying...

SId: Hi Ms. ROli... What happened?

She was unable to hold her cry for some time.

After a while she realised what she is doing.

She got up from the sofa and stood turned against him..

SId: Sorry... Just tried to consol you as you were crying...

Roli did not reply.

Sid: Ms. ROli, tell me what happend?

Roli: I remembered my family. Nothing else...

Sid: Your family means? Where are they? I too did not ask anything about them to you.

Roli: What can you ask when none of them left for me now?

Sid: What???

ROli: Sir, leave me. Mine is finished. Nothing to do with it. Now tell me Why you are unable to handle Anjali in her mother's absence?

Sid: How can i replace her mother Ms. ROli?

ROli: Of course, no one can replace a mother. But you can console her as a father.

Sid: What???

Roli: WHy sir so much surprised? I am telling the fact. Child can get console by her father too.

Sid: May be. But not possible with me.

Roli: What do you mean?

Sid: I mean...

ROli was looking for his answer on his face.

Sid: I am not her father too...

Roli: What???

Roli was surprised...

Siddhant looked at her expression.

ROli: SIr, what are you talking?

Sid: Yes. Ms. Roli, I am not not father of Anjali.

ROli: Then???

Sid: She is daughter of my brother.

ROli: Ok. WHere is her parents then? I mean your brother & his wife.

Siddhant down his face and his face expressed sorrow.

Roli was looking at him for the answer.

Sid: Her parents died in an accident before some days...

ROli was terribly shocked.

Roli: Oh GOd!

Sid: Ok. Ms. ROli, now it is already 2 AM. Please go to sleep. I know you need to go to college tomorrow.

Roli nod her head as acceptance.

Roli got up and took few steps..

Siddhant was looking at Roli who was moving towards Anjali Room..

Roli stopped and turned her face towards Siddhant.

Their eyes meet for a while.

Roli blushed and moved forward again.

Siddhant smiled...

Siddhant went to his room and lay down on his bed...

His thoughts were around her.

He was thinking, this girl got some magical power on her. Since i saw her, my mind is not able to go away from her thoughts...

He smiled...

Roli who was beside Anjali looked and confirmed that Anjali is sleeping..

Roli close her eyes to atleast sleep for sometime.

Roli now realised he is not the father of the child.

Roli was thinking, does this means he is unmarried...

Roli was getting some sort of excitement inside her on thinking that he is unmarried..

She was wondering why she is feeling so.

She remembered how he wrapped his hands around her...

She was wondering herself how she joined his shoulders like a close friend or known person...

Though she was not getting any answers his thoughts itself turned ROli to pink...

Roli as well as Siddhant in their room were unable to sleep with thoughts of the other...

Part 12

Roli got up from bed.

Roli looked at Anjali who was still sleeping.

She got up and went to her room.

She looked herself in the mirror

Her eyes were red without sleep.

She took bath and washed her eyes well to cool down the burning eyes.

Roli came out of her room and went to check Anjali.

Anjali was still sleeping.

She looked at the clock and found the time was only 6:30 AM.

She thought no urgency in waking up Anjali.

She went to the kitchen.

Roli found the same breakfast prepared by the servant.

Roli: This was the breakfast yesterday too right.

Servant: yes mam. But that is what we prepare daily.

Roli: Wont we get bored to eat same thing daily. Also Anjali like small babies surely look for difference.

Servant: Mam. Then what should i prepare.

ROli: Let me prepare today Fried rice...

Servant: Mam. Sir will scold us if he knows you cooked.

ROli: Dont worry. I will tell him that i only insisted for this.

Servant: Ok Mam. Then we will help you in other small works.

Roli: Sure..

Roli gave the vegetable to cut.

The servant cut the vegetables, grind the gravy and helped Roli.

Roli prepared the Fried Rice.

Roli looked at the clock and the time was 7:30.

Now Roli rushed towards Anjali Room.

On the way she clash with Siddhant who was coming to the hall.

She was about to fall while Siddhant hold her again from falling holding her hips...

Siddhant smiled looking at her while ROli blushed.

Sid: Ms. ROli, what is urgency while walking? Walk slowly.

He said without removing his hands from her hip.

Roli was not getting her words on his hold.

She looked at him and down her face as she was unable to meet his eyes.

His hands pulled her closer to him tightening his hold on her.

Roli collected her courage to talk to him and adjusted her throat to clear her blocked throat..

ROli: Sir..

SId: Hmmm

ROli: Please leave me..

Now Siddhant realised he is holding her and removed his hands from her.

ROli swiftly rushed away from him.

Roli went inside Anjali room...

Siddhant smiled and sat in the hall sofa and took the news paper to read.

Roli wake up Anjali.

Anjali forgetting her all cries the previous night smiled looking ROli.

Roli took her to bathroom and made her brush her teeth and take bath.

Roli put the uniform on her and made her ready.

Then she kept the bag ready with the books inside.

Roli: Anjali, shall we have breakfast now.

Anjali: Ok.

Roli took Anjali and moved towards dining table.

Roli looked at Siddhant while crossing him and hide her face with Anjali.

Siddhant too noticed and moved towards dining table with a smile...

Part 13

Roli with Anjali sat on one side of the dining table..

Siddhant sat opposite to her looking at Roli.

ROli was unable to meet his eyes and hence looked at Anjali and was talking to her.

Servant served the fried rice to all the three.

Siddhant was surprised on different dish served in the plate.

He looked at the servance with surprise.

Servant was tensed that he should not shout at him.

Servant: Sir, Mam only...

Sid: Mam only???

Servant: Yes Sir. Mam only changed the menu today.

SIddhant looked at ROli who remained silent to open her mouth if required.

Siddhant had food...

He looked at Servant with a happy expression on his face.

Sid: Its really nice. I dont know you will prepare tasty fried rice all these days. I am thinking of increasing your salary itself for this tasty food.

Servant: Sir...

Sid: What???

Servant: Today Mam only...

Sid: What again Mam only???

Servant: Mam only prepared this.

Sid: What???

Servant: Yes Sir. She only...

Sid: Then for what you people are here for cooking. WHy she need to cook?

Servant looked at Roli.

Roli: Sir, I only did this willingly. Dont tell him anything. It is not his mistake.

Siddhant smiled..

Siddhant showed his hands to the servant to go away from there.

Roli, Siddhant with ANjali alone was in the dining table.

ROli was tensed why he let others go from there.

Sid: Ms. ROli, you said the salary offered to you is high. But it seems it is not enough for you.

ROli: SIr, when i said like this sir?

Sid: Then i got from my mouth itself about salary increase for the tasty food. Now after committing now i need to fulfill that too.

Roli smiled.

Roli: SIr, i have not done for salary increase or anything. I am used to prepare food for me when i was alone. Now i prepared more quantity. Thats all nothing big. Also servants helped me to prepare it.

Sid: Hmmm.

His gazing eyes went through her hitting the points making her restless.

Roli rushed to finish feeding Anjali and her food.

Siddhant admired looking at her tension on seeing him.

Servant bring the lunch boxes packed for Roli & Anjali.

Roli took Anjali to the car and made her sit inside the car.

She also kept her school & lunch bag inside the car.

Roli: Driver, take care to drop Anjali inside her class and leave after assured she is fine. Dont rush to drop outside the school & return.

Driver: Ok Mam.

ROli waved bye to Anjali.

Anjali too with a smile waved bye to ROli.

Roli turned and rushed towards her room.
