Part 46ROli was treated by the doctor on emergency basis.
Mataji, Sujatha, Simar & Siddhant were waiting outside the room.
Siddhant was tensed.
He was praying to God to save ROli.
Tears were rolling on his cheeks.
His vision was dull due to tears filled on his eyes.
After sometime... the doctor came out.
All the 4 rushed towards her.
Doctor looked at them with hesitation.
Doctor: Mataji, I am sorry. We were unable to save the baby.
Sid: Doctor, is Roli alright.
Doctor: She is alright. few small injuries for which we packed with bandages. But she is tired due to huge blood loss. I have given pain killer injection and she is sleeping. She will be shifted to room in few minutes...
All the 4 were waiting in the room.
Mataji & Sujatha were very much upset.
Siddhant noticed that..
Sid: Mataji, i do understand your feelings. But now ROli is safe. That is more important. If you all show upset face to ROli, then how can she handle this. Instead i wish you all go home. Simar bhabhi, please take Mataji & Maaji home. I will take care of ROli here.
Simar took them and return home.
Siddhant was waiting alone.
In few minutes...
Roli was shifted to the room..
Glucose was given through drips..
She was sleeping as the doctor said.
Siddhant was looking into her face.
Siddhant locked the room and sat beside her.
Siddhant hold her hands...
He knows the next few minutes will be her silent moment till she get back to conscious and know the truth. Then she will be broken like anything.
Siddhant collect his courage to face the situation.
He too was feeling bad on losing the baby.
But he cant break when he is now in position of handling Roli.
Siddhant caresses her hair.
He kissed her hands and forehead..
He was waiting for the movement on her..
After sometime..
Roli face was expressing her pain though eyes not opened.
Siddhant realised she is getting conscious.
The pain killer effect has gone.
Roli slowly opened her eyes.
She saw Siddhant in front of her eyes.
Siddhant tried to talk to her...
ROli hold his hands like how they hold as a friend..
ROli: SIddhant i wish to talk to my friend now...
ROli eyes were filled with tears...
Sid: Tell me ROli.
Roli: SIddhant, i commited a big mistake Siddhant. I cant face my husband. i did not hear his words. He told me several times to be careful. I never heard. Today he gave ample time to get down the stairs. Still where i did. I was getting down in some thinking.. I got punishment for my mistake. i deserve this as i did the mistake. But what my husband did. How much dreams he might have built about his child? How can i face him & talk to him? I cant handle. I cant handle.
ROli started crying.
Sid: ROli, dont worry. I already handled your husband and consol him. He understood his wife did not do anything purposefully. Also she is the one who got pain in all levels. Everything is known to your husband. SO no need to worry about him. His concern is how his wife handle this. So my concern too is only for my friend ROli. Dont cry. Bring courage to handle this.
ROli: How can i siddhant?
She was crying more...
Siddhant tried to go near her to share a hug.
ROli moved away.
ROli: SIddhant.. please stay as a friend. I cant face you as a husband. i dont have that courage. Please... Please...
Sid: ROli.. Ok. Relax... Yes. I am your friend ok. I will be your friend till you get your courage to face your husband ok.
Roli hold his hands and closed her eyes...
Siddhant was confused on seeing Roli who is seeing two different person on him.
Siddhant was thinking all these days that she is doing it for fun.
But now realised she really seeing friend & husband as two different person on him..
Roli who prefered to share her happiness with her husband instead of friend, now wish to share her grief with her friend instead of husband.
Roli is feeling guilty that she did not hear her husband words, so she do not wish to face her husband...
Siddhant understood this is because of her depressed state of mind.
Siddhant decided to be her friend till she recover from her depression & guilty feelings...
