Sid: Nothing. If you wish to work there.. fine, I won't stop you.. BUT.. I want you to be at home before I come back, means by 7pm. No work on Saturday evenings and Sunday. No lunch at office. No late night parties or meetings. Stay far away from Veeru and ignore him as much you can.
Roli: so many conditions... It's better if I don't work there.
Sid: don't work then.
Roli: No No. I'm working.. and I promise to follow all your conditions.
Sid: and I don't want your work to affect our personal life. When I come back home, I want my wife's time all reserved for me.. even in the morning. I don't want to see you working till late night at home and then sleeping late and getting dark circles. And..
Roli: Siddhanth ji.. Ok. I promise.. my work won't come in between our relationship and when I be back at home.. I'll make sure that I stay with you every hour, every minute and every second. Happy?
Sid: yes but will be more happy if we go to sleep now.
He pulled her toward him and picking her in his arms, he walked to his side and placed her there... leaning on her for another romantic and passionate night.
The next morning, when the sun hit his face.. he opened his eyes only to find an empty bed. He groaned and got up from the bed.. wearing his clothes, he rushed downstairs and saw his mother and Mataji talking to each other.
Sujatha: Siddhanth?
Sid: Good Morning Maa.. Where are everyone?
Mataji: everyone or Roli? Your father is at office.. Jhanvi went to college while Roli has gone out for some work.
Sid: work?
Sujatha: yes.. she's going to start working in Veeru's company so.
Sid (to himself): wow.. first day and she didn't even tell me.
Sujatha: what?
Sid: nothing Maa. I'll get ready..
Sujatha: I'll prepare your breakfast.
Without listening to his mother's last line, he rushed to his room. After getting fresh, he started moving downstairs.
Sujatha: Siddhanth.. At least have breakfast.
Sid: No Maa. I'm not hungry!
He left hastily and rushed to his office. He was slight angry so didn't want to call Roli.. she should call by herself this time.
Roli left for Veeru's company to complete some forms. She entered in the building and one of the staff member directed her to Veeru's cabin. She knocked and hearing "come in", she entered.
Veeru: Welcome Ms. Roli. welcome..
She sat on the chair kept in front of him and handled her curriculum vitae to him.
Veeru: I don't need it. I was checking all designs sent from your college and I specially loved your designs. I really like your unique style. I will be glad if you do the internship in my office.What is your decision?When will u start your work?
Roli: I'm fine starting from tomorrow Sir.
Veeru: Don't be so formal dear.. Veeru is fine. (He winked at her) As you may know.. I don't like married women working in my office. I prefer single women or even those who are dating or engaged are fine.. but married? A Big No!...what about you? are you single or?
Roli: single.
Veeru: That's fantastic and incredible.
Roli: what?
Veeru: fantastic because I have a chance to flirt with you (He winked again and she felt a bit uncomfortable with him)and incredible because you're a very beautiful girl.. and single? That's difficult to digest. Anyway.. getting back to work. You have to start everyday at 9am and work till 12pm and then lunch break till 2pm. It's your choice if you want to be in the canteen or move out of the office. You have to re-start at 2 and work till 6pm.
Roli: 6 pm? Is it ok if I work till 5pm please?
Veeru: strange... anyway.. I don't have any problem if my work is done.
Roli: I will definitely do everything on time Sir.. I mean Veeru.
Veeru: Sign these papers, save my number and start working from tomorrow Beautiful lady.
He winked for the last time and moved out from the cabin. She thought for some seconds about everything and then praying to Matarani, she signed the contract papers.
Later, she went to Simar as she knows, Siddhanth will be at office this time. They talked about the conversation which happened between Roli and Veeru..
Simar:Roli.. one thing that i felt strange was why Veeru don't like married girls working there?
Roli: I wonder what will happen when Siddhanth ji will know about it.
Simar: I'm thinking the same.
Roli: hmm..
Simar: but you can't miss this internship .. Isn't it?
Roli: right didi! I won't tell everything to him now.. I'm going to tell him only when the right time will come. If it's not needed.. I won't. I just hope these three months pass quickly because later iam interested to work in our company so there won't be any problem. Anyway.. I'll leave right now. I have some works to finish before I get busy from tomorrow!
Both the sisters laughed and Simar walked till the door.. bidding bye to her sister .
Roli went to BW house and saw Sujatha cooking in the kitchen and Jhanvi helping Sujatha.
Roli:Maa ji something delicious is been cooking day. Anything special?
Jhanvi: No bhabi.Maa was cooking for my dear brother Siddhanth . He left early because had some work so cooking a special lunch for him. How was your meeting with Veeru?
Roli: it was fine but you know Jhanvi.. I don't know how I'm going to hide the fact that I'm Siddhanth bharadwaj's wife! Thank God.. I never attended any public event or party with him.. so nobody know who I am but these three months..
Sujatha:why u need to hide this fact?
Roli:Maaji..Veeru don't like Married women to work for his company..
Jhanvi: well.. you should think very carefully about everything and plan everything accordingly. Just make sure to spend plenty of time when Bhaiya is at home and always keep messaging him.. even in your office hours. He shouldn't feel neglected at all!
Sujatha:And one thing you should always remember she cupped Roli's cheek these three months shouldn't apart you and Siddhanth. Roli blinked for once and kept looking at her Mother-in-law.
Sujatha: anyway.. now you better go to his office because your hubby left without having breakfast.
Roli: Oh really? I'll go right now then!
Roli packed lunch for Siddhanth and went to his office.
As soon as she entered, Rohit,PA of siddhanth greeted her but nobody said anything as everyone barely knew her... their boss prefers to keep his personal life far away from professional life. He always likes to keep his life with him and his closed ones.
She knocked to Siddhanth cabin. He said "come in" and she entered with a big smile but it disappeared as soon as she saw Prem there.
Roli: Jiju? What are you doing here?
Prem: Roli? (He raised his eyebrows) Why.. can't I come ? If you forget, let me remind you that your husband is my brother first and then your husband.
Roli: Oh.. I was just asking. I brought lunch.. so let's have it together..
The guys nodded and she served them, sitting beside Prem and in-front of Siddhanth.
Prem (while eating): so Roli.. what happened about your internship with Veeru? You went to the meeting in the morning.. right?
Roli stopped eating and looked at Siddhanth.. he was also looking at her.
Roli: yes..it was fine.
Prem: just fine? When are you going to start?
Roli: tomorrow itself!
Prem: that's great.. I'm going now.. meetings to attend. See you guys soon. Byye!
Sid & Roli: Byee!
Roli packed the lunch and kept it aside.. getting up from her chair, she went to Siddhanth and back hugged him.. resting her chin on his shoulder as he was still sitting.
Roli: Siddhanth ji.. are you angry with your Roli?
Sid(holding her palms and kissing them): no Roli.. but I don't like when you hide something from me. If Prem knows that you had to attend the meeting today morning.. you could have also told me.. I'm your husband Roli and owe to know where my wife goes and what she does.
Roli took a long breath and came to stand in front of Siddhanth.. moving his chair a bit backward.
Roli: Ok.. I'm sorry. I just wanted to surprise you and didn't want to tell because my internship there wasn't finalized. I'm sorry!
She said the sorry with a cute puppy face and he couldn't ignore her for too long.. He was just upset on her behaviour.
Sid (pulling her from her waist toward him): you know what Roli? Sometimes you really behave childishly.
Roli (positioning her arms around his neck): well I have a very mature husband.. so why I need to be same as him? One of the two has to be childish.. so the other one can take care of her/him.
Sid: and what about the childish one? Doesn't he/she has to take care of the other?
She brushed her nose with his and smiled. He made her sit on her lap and hugged her tightly by her waist.
Sid: I hate those morning when you aren't beside me!
Roli (caressing his arms): then you have to get used to it.. I will get up every morning early so I can prepare your breakfast.
Sid (nuzzling his nose on her neck): you don't need to.. I just want you to be beside me. i appointed someone for doing work. Your time should be reserved to me only.. now that you are starting your office too.
Roli: Ok.. Siddhanth ji.. leave.
Sid(kissing at the crook of her neck): why?
Roli: what do you mean by why? I said leave me.. it's your office.
Sid: so.. it has a couch.. a big one.
Roli: SIDDHANTH JI you are becoming naughty day by day! I need to go back to home and learn how to cook more dishes.
Sid: and why are you so keen to learn cooking?
Roli: because.. Husband heart's way is from his stomach and I need to win his heart..
Sid: You have already won his heart.. from the day he saw you for the first time.. on the road.
He untied her dhori by now and caressed her back there.. until his phone rang and he ignored it.. continuing his work.
Roli: Siddhanth ji.. your phone!
Sid: let it ring. I'm busy.. with my wife.
She pushed him with her shoulders and got up from his lap.. he was about to pull her again but stopped when he saw her glare.
Sid: Oh God.. I'm scared Mrs. Siddhanth!
Roli: you better be Mr. Siddhanth. Bye! See you sharp at 7pm for dinner. If you get late for even one second.. forget your wife!
She picked her stuff and walked away.. leaving a laughing Siddhanth behind.
Roli: what is this? Siddhanth ji.. when the door got locked?
Sid: when you were eating.. I closed the curtains and locked the door.
Roli: but why?
Sid: because I knew I was going to pull you on my lap!
The next morning, she got up early and moved downstairs to prepare breakfast. She woke up Siddhanth and after he left.. she got ready and left for her office: it was her first day and she was praying to Matarani.
Roli reached on time and was greeted by one of the staff member who led her to Veeru's cabin where all interns were waiting. Their boss entered in his formal attire and looked at his interns: all girls of his age!
Veeru: So my beautiful ladies.. all the best for your internship but there have been changes. The internship won't last for three months but only ten days.. starting from today. I have already divided you in groups of two and you girls have to prepare a Collection of NEW Designs by you.. for a Fashion Show. You guys need to walk the ramp too.. along with your team. After these ten days.. I'll decide who will work in this company and who is not..
Roli looked at Veeru
Veeru: and.. don't forget.. these ten days.. will change your life forever.
He winked and left.. leaving surprised and shocked the interns.
One of the Intern: Oh God.. if anyone wants to stay in this company.. have to be friendly with Veeru.
Roli(to herself):i have to work extra hard than expected.. but what about Siddhanth ji?He need me to spend time with him when he is at Home ...working only in office.. it's not possible! it's a big challenge for me.. to keep Siddhanth ji happy and to impress boss at the same time!
