Avika and Manish make a short film
Along with shooting, actors Manish Raisinghani and Avika Gor have been quite productive on the sets of their show, 'Sasural Simar Ka'.
We hear that the duo has created a short film " a love story between a psychiatrist and her patient. In fact, they have done everything by themselves " from story writing and direction to arranging lights, composing music, acting and even editing.
So, how did they come up with the idea? Says Avika, "We are best friends, but rather than gossiping away in the middle of shots, Manish and I love learning and doing constructive work. We were already exploring photography, so a short film was the perfect next step."
Ask Manish about the most challenging aspect of the film and he says, "There was a shot in which we hung a camera from the ceiling and dropped it from there, to achieve the desired impact of the shot. When we planned the shot, technicians called it impossible, as you need hi-fi equipment for it. But once we managed to do it with one thin nylon rope, that too in one take, it was a big high for both of us." Well, if not acting, we know what the two actors can pursue next.
