First of all Hi.
Nice to talk with u after long time.
Nice to see you in the forum as well; It has been a while.
Now coming back to ur question. My answer is yes simar can carry the show. I dont mean that roli and sid r nothing. Yes, they r important part of story. In Mumbai part of roli and sid TRP was down than previous week. I know u would not like to agree with me but that is fact.
When Rosid were in Mumbai that was the peak of the IPL season and every show's TRP fell but SSK still maintained a decent 2.6 to a 2.7. Manish himself said that in one of the articles. When Avika went on leave to shoot her movie their was not IPL still the TRP's crashed...For the 1st time SSK's TRP (atleast since I started watching) fell below 2.0 (it was 1.8 I think) I am not saying Roli or Sid are carrying the show but they together (Rosid) are...Audience is interested in their light hearted nok jhok. Sid was still around when Avika was gone but the TRP's still fell. The reason I am saying Simar is unable to carry the show is because she is not a strong character...most leads these days are strong women (Anandi, Khushi, Manvi) who are able to take a stand. Here too Simar is sacrificing once by supporting the woman who sent her to jail...Why? Isnt her self respect important to her? Let Simar fight back for once and then lets check out the TRP's.
And my answer was for TM who was making mountain out of mole. Rosid fans always demand peace while they r creating such topics and expect peace from opposite group.
Come on yaar if u cant digest the title of the serial than there is best solution stop following it. Becoz whatever happens u cant remove simar from lead role. So whats the point of complaining? Just one article came out that they r bringing manish for TRP people r holding that point like any weapon. Let me agree with u yes he was approached for the sake of TRP. So what? He is there and doing his job that doesnt mean only Rosid r stars of show and rest r nothing.
I get your point to a certain extent here but help me understand this...Tell me why does Simar get credit for everything in the show? The entire Anisha episode was planned by Prem, Sid and Roli but Simar was given credit. Mataji called Simar an ideal bahu of the family and how Khushi should follow her...Arent Roli, Uma and Pari all good bahu's in their own ways then why such a comparison? Uma and Pari hate Simar for this very reason. All we want from the CV's is to stop shoving Simar's mahaanta down our throat. Simar can be the lead but does not have to be a "mahaan lead", she can be a normal person who sometimes comes out of the kitchen and reacts to situations normally instead of going straight to sacrifice mode.
If u make topic on less screen space of ur fav couple than its ok. But here issue is why simar getting all credit? C'mon ur favorite r getting enough screen space than enjoy it why r u worried about y family members not appreciating roli.?
Trust me since this Khushi track has started and the way Simar is restraining Roli we are back to watching the Rosid uncuts posted by Rosid fans on youtube. Frankly at this time only Khushi, Karuna and Simar are getting screen space and I dont have 30 mins to waste on these 3 hence I am updated both via the written updates and the Rosid uncuts. Why just Rosid even Premar are not getting screen space at this time; I will be happy to watch the show if Simar starts teaching Khushi a lesson but dont know when that will happen if at all it does.
And i guess both avika and manish r enough sensible. If they r still with this show than sure they r getting something from it. They r more worried about their talent more than any1 else.
True!! They both know they have tremendous fan following more so because of the Rosid pairing which is also why they hang around
Question for you to ponder on...Why do you think the CV's chose the Rosid Mumbai track especially during IPL? Thats because the CV's are not stupid and they realize that if any one can pull the audience away from IPL to watch SSK its Rosid...food for thought.
Anyways wonderful seeing you back on the forum and exchanging thoughts with you :-D.
