I have seen brides' families worrying about marrige and expenditure. Here they are worrying about expenditure over the boy's marriage. Ishan is in a good job and yet for him Rs.20K is a big amount.
They will not take money from Radha Bua because in future she may need it to give gifts to her bahu. Ishan is forgetting that whether he takes money from Suhana or not, his colleagues wont stop talking. This is supposed to be an enlightened family but they have old fashioned ideas on many things. What is the purpose of earning money if it cant be used when there is necessity?
Is one lakh rupees sufficient to get so many gold sets in view of the present day gold price?
