SGP's Badi Maa!!

Okay so we all love SGP and we all love BM BUT do always agree with them? NO CERTAINLY NOT!

Once upon a time I was in AWE of BM😍 but its not like that now. I don't dislike her, there are some moments of the old magic but the respect and passion is no longer there (I guess the writers can take credit for that)

I understand that BM is the eldest BAHU and is more mature and sensible YES YES I get that BUT WHAT is she doing these day??? Is she becoming senile? I cannot see how she thinks its RIGHT for her to give permission to her daughter in law to work if the husband in question is not content? I remember chatting about this with Di (venture) that if Raunak said "no" would she allow Panna to work? I don't think so! Why doesn't she consult anyone about before taking a decision? Like the time of bringing HER in before the confession, forget about asking she didn't even tell the parents!! Or the time of allowing Ishaan to go to Mumbai! Did she ask Rano? Why does Alok has to agree?

YES we should respect our elders but we should also question them when they are not following the right path. They are also humans and can lose the plot from time to time!

Another thing, I cannot see how she thinks SHE is suitable to GIVE ADVICE on MARRIAGE???? and WHY does she have to be involved in every matter?

I would to see Alok to be stronger and be more assertive! I would want Dada-Dadi to be resolving matters too!

This is almost an INDIRECT version of dictatorship! Whatever she says, everyone follows! Dhatt Chee Hatt! 🤢

first of all BM didnt tell Ishan to forget about Rano, she just said that she will come around eventually (which she will). Also if the parent is acting irrationally (as Ishan thinks so) then YES someone does have a right to tell her off. Maybe its just me and the way I am raised, I respect my parents and love them with all my heart but that doesnt excuse them from being wrong which they are in many occasions, and BM didnt demean Rano in any way at all...she was very calm and balanced when she was talking to Rano when Rano was furious

and also Ishan himself stated in today's episode that he has absolutely no problem with Suhana working...and BM praised him for it that he was so understanding that he was willing to do anything for Suhana's happiness

BM's talk on marriage were spot on...she wasnt lecturing Ishan about keeping Suhana happy, she merely stated a fact that if the relationship is not handled in the right way then it is broken and she was citing herself and Ishwar as an example.



I don't think BM is wrong in any way regarding this matter neither is Rano...both of these mothers have a justified view on their argument

I dont think that she is handling the family like a dictatroship😕 if she was then she would be like Gauri's MIL

I agree with mj , I am a latto fan of BM but lately she is being bit controversial , one rule for one person the other for other . I really didn't like her saying , not to worry about your mother ! She clearly said that as I saw it twice ! See my point is that if a person holds certain views you don't try to change there view , you give your point of view and let the other decide .
The way everybody jumped on Rano was unfair . If BM would have said NO then Suhana would never have considered this at all. There is nothing wrong with it but at the same time it's kind of unfair on Ishaan too that he has to all the sacrifices .
Nobody is absolutely right here and nobody is absolutely wrong , this issue in my view should be resolved among Suhana and Rano only .
Just an example , my Nani was against me going to University thinking BOYS would be there , I did nothing , took her with me and she came back all happy after seeing so many girls from all sorts of background . Suhana should just take her to shoots and she will be fine after that .
And when people say that one should not listen to society and all then same people should not habe any problem in keeping the old phones , wearing non branded clothes and the rest of it saying " what would my friends say if I keep this old phone or wear the same clothes " . We live in society we are part of it , we gossip as well, we scrutinise people , we make fun of people who don't wear up to date clothes etc etc.

^if I remember correctly then BM never jumped on Rano like Inder and Alok did. Alok basically was borderline rude with Rano by saying she had a problem with Ishan,Ishika and Suhana and was taunting her. BM wasn't rude to her at all...throughout the entire conversation BM was very civil and calm with Rano so I don't see why you guys are thinking BM is wrong here🤔 In fact BM was the one who brought forth logical points in that argument...where was Rano's concern when Suhana was home ALONE in an unknown city when Ishan was busy in the office (or frolicking with bachpan ki dost rather)

I understand Rano's concern and I do agree with her that she has a right to think about her son and DIL's life but the way she has presented her argument comes off as hypocritical especially when she assumed that Suhana-Ishan will remain childless and also that Suhana cannot handle responsibilities of a wife and a career oriented woman...it sounds too orthodox and chauvinistic

I think BM has extra concern and love towards Suhana and Elesh.. as they are mother less kids and every one says them namoonas ..

I think from the serial beginning, if suhana truth of not accepting Ishaan came out, i think no one would have loved suhana and want her out from the family like RB..I am sure Rano would also not have lovedsuhana and concern about her... I think BM is one sensible women who has faith in suhana..

BM has seen how suhana have changed somewhat... I am not saying drastically, but adjusted her self in the family...Rano concern and love more toward Ishaan.. I think somewhere BM loves suhana as a mother and sometimes she forgot that suhana has to take responsibilites and share the duties also.. like in Rajini-disha -suhana track..

When Ishaan wants to go to mumbai , it was Rano and Suhana against of his going.. Even after BM approval Rano and suhana pleaded him to not to go.. But ishaan told suhana and his mom, he has to prove himself... and in this case BM has told suhana, as a wife she has to support her husband and take care of him..

It would have been good that BM should have back-offi intially and told Rano, Ishaan, Suhana and Alok would decide , if they want suhana to send for working in serial or not.. It's their decision... as others in the family doesn't have much objection, neither they have directly have problems with suhana odd-shifts..

But BM failed here, even knowing how Rano's nature and complained about Ishaan in mumbai track.. Mostly she would first think of Rano, not repeat the same thing..

Yesterday episode, what BM said " forget your mother" is not in real sense... But Rano's nature, first she objects, rather she understand and adjust.. like ishaan going to mumbai and Ishika case, she realised she was wrong later... So may be BM has seen this type of incidents many more before also..

BM told how Rano sit and saw her bahu serial before it starts.. and told she is like that, and will soon adjust and understand.. So BM view's not to think of Rano scholdings and her fears, as she changes her decision and understand others views lately...

Whatever yesterday BM told is true, Suhana lived alone in mumbai and managed home, even though with madhuri also, she did managed the house and Ishaan used to come late from office.That time suhana even though felt bad missing family, she supported Ishaan..

I agree suhana was wrong giving approval without taking Ishaan permission. Whatever Rano said also right, " what work suhana is doing in home " and how would she manage if children will be there, which are real concerning issues... I think Suhana should talk to Rano in private, what's her problem, her odd-timmings or her going to job...It's suhana- Rano would would sort it out... No alok, nor ishaan or BM involve here..It 's between MIL and DIL..

Ishaan is allways supportive and put's suhana happiness above his happiness.. I would like to see suhana realising this and putting his happiness before herself and realise how good husband and family she got and value and praise that ...

i'll like to add something, to say this i had to watch again the 1&2feb episode, u remember the seine the 1st morning after coming to delhi suhana made whole breakfast and now everyday she wanted to make lunch and dinner also. so RB said BM RB & rano should retire from here the whole concept of suhana getting a job started. at the dining table u could see rano's face expression that she didn't want suhana to work at all.

my point is suhana did changed a lot she was willing to do all the kitchen work but was stoped, so rano saying 'suhana ghar mai kya kam karti hai' was wrong even though it was an outburst at that point of time. if u don't let a person to do something how could she had done the house hold work.

on 2 feb episode BM questioned rano what's the problem if suhana get's a job, disha also work. rano's face expression here also said that she didn't want suhana to work at all.

till this time they didn't know that suhana would be doing serial thus i'll say rano is traditional she doesn't want to see her DIL working. at this point also she would have said 'log kya kahege & disha has to work only cause ilesh doesn't '

Suli Sudi is not happy with BM too ! ( but I still love her to bits !! BM just rocks , Allah BM/ Suhana kee jodi salamat rakhay ) .
