Any Month [like Kartik, Magshar, etc...] according to our Indian Calendar starts with Ekam... means 1st Day of the Month, which is called Ekam... as the Day After Diwali is 1st day of New Year, it becomes it's Ekam,

and the 2nd day of the Month is called Duj (2nd)... Dooj after Diwali day is celebrated with Brother... so it became Bhai-Dooj...😃

same way it goes for every day of the months... 3rd day will be Tij... , 4th day Choth, 5th day Pancham... 😊 so on...

@Nets -- in Gujarati... it's Bij as it's gujju word of Dooj... so, we ppl call it Bhai-Bij😃
