...So before you step in and start reading, first think about it. Can you handle controversy?😲 If not, then please leave and pretend you didn't see this. If you can stomach it, then let your eyes wander over this baby. 😉😆
Okay, so lately there's an issue that's been bothering me.😒 Of course it's none other than the whole thing about some of us SGPians "bashing" other characters/actors from other serials. By this point, I hope we all now realized that the whole thing was a misunderstanding and that some of my fellow SGPians friends weren't actually bashing but having great fun making fun of each other using other characters from other serials and heck even from here.
Still, something about that bothered me. The person who made a thread in the other forum complaining about our so-called bashing roused up other members without first even understanding the context of the posts'.then those members kinda followed like a herd and started sending reports to moderators and whatnot. Like, seriously?! What if some of my SGPian friends got banned from the forum because of this mistake all due to not following context? Sorry to say but I smacked my forehead seeing all this dumbness. And I'm considered the universal dumbo in here!!!😆
Now putting that aside'.there's also the matter of "bashing". Just what is considered bashing? I actually took the time out to look up the definition and one site says, "to hurl harsh verbal abuse at someone." Then I looked up what abuse meant and it is "harshly or coarsely insulting language." So basically to bash someone is to use insults towards that person in a harsh manner. An example would be, "the character playing Ilesh is a damn retarded *censor* *censor*" (I'll leave this to your imaginations). Then there's something called criticism which is also harsh in nature but it is used to pass evaluation/analysis of something in a judgmental manner. Whereas bashing stems from emotion and unreasonableness, criticism stems from logic and legit stuff.
The sad thing is I see criticisms made but they are usually construed as bashing. Pitiful really'because then it's not giving majority of us a voice'.when really this site has been designed and reared to promoting discussions which by default must include criticisms'.after all, what's a discussion if we all agree and love everything? And now because of people thinking that we're bashing, some of the members wish to keep quiet when in fact they could have some very interesting or valuable gyaan.
Us SGPians have a motto: we agree to disagree. There are members in here who love Ishaan/Jay Soni'but I'm not such a great fan of him. Still, they tolerate me, I tolerate them'in fact, a bunch of us are friends here and whatnot. They don't mind when I make fun of Jay/Ishaan because they know I'm sarcastic, rarely serious, and don't really have personal issues with the character or actor himself'I just criticize some of the things he does (ie, his acting being subpar, his pink lipstick, etc etc). And I like this! I like how I'm free to voice my opinions without wondering if I offended anyone'.it's even better when some of them start joining in the jokes too. Now these are the kind of people I like.
So anyways, this is becoming longer and longer. So I'll try to wrap up. Bottom line I want to say is chill out, folks. We're a very nonserious bunch of people, we have lots of interesting things to say, and we're never out to hurt anyone's feelings. Some of the SGPians are sadly now thinking about refraining from posting their thoughts and while that hurts me because I would very much like to hear what they think no matter what it is, I will not follow their paths. I will speak out my criticisms, I will pass on my jokes, and I'll revel in it.😎 If you don't like my comments, tell me directly. This is only way we can sort out our differences. Plus, I'm 99% certain that it's not me who's in the wrong, it's you. 😉😆
So yeah...tl;dr?: Don't assume because someone once said it makes an ass out of u and me; don't be too serious in life, loosen up a little; don't take things said about a character too seriously, they're only fictional; and for the love of Akshara and Naitik, don't ever report me. 🤣
P.S. I realize some of you lack the funny bones in your bodies...it's okay, not everyone can be like me or other SGPians😉😆...but itna zyaada bhi serious mat ho ki hum jaise hassi mazaak waale logon ko koi chance nahi milega hassne ka.
