Monsoons had just started in India, SGP was at its boring best . IF was calm with minimal activity and my interest in it started dwindling as most of my friends here became too occupied with their lives outside it. It was the time when I started missing Febs, Feefs, Sam and all their naughty n hilarious bak bakðŸ˜. It was the time when Nets became too busy to do idle chit chat and Rubs became too involved in his acads😲. Around the same time came the holy month of Ramadan as well and my Muslim friends too were abstaining from IF. Shounak had become the Id ka chaand and Tabz as usual was busy enjoying her Chai ji😡. Renu ji though was regular but as she was never known for her chatting skills was of no help either🥱. Not sure why but even Keens started showing signs of slowdown😕. It used to take ages to complete one thread of BBC that too with the help of Shwets and the alphabet game which we used to play just to fill in🤔. Everyday I used to feel as if it was going to be my last day here. I was down, I was dejected and I wondered why do all of them have to disappear at the same time.
In the background of all these events there was a new entry who silently made her way into the BBC. What attracted members to her initially was her weird n funny user name that matched the name of a very disgusting and pathetic Hindi movie starring Rekha 😕
First impression they say plays a strong role in influencing one's thinking about that person and her picture in my head was very clear as soon as I saw that username----- a strange, dangerous yet funny woman in her 30s:🤔
She was a BBC thread specialist in her initial days. During that phase I was more of a silent reader of her bak bak with Rubs and Shwets but very soon succumbed to her craziness or I should say dumbness(ok we will come to the dumbness part later😉). As conversations became dumber and weirder we tried to open up to each other. But the first impression about her was still killing me deep inside.😆

Then started the whole controversy about her name...She asked us to call her Ekta and then it slowly changed to Ekta Mayee(courtesy the gr8 Ekta Kapoor)...I was surprised to know that she being in NYC was not on FB or twitter. I then thought may be she is faking all of it so that we don't get to know her real name. Real name or Fake name, many SGPians were slowly but surely getting engulfed in her world of bak bak.
My usual starting conversations with new members(in quotes girls only) are more of flirty rather than chatty. But the first impression which was troubling me never allowed my flirtatious side to be revealed so the arrogant side took centre stage. We started off with the usual funny name calling most of them animals, actually all of them were animals. She teased me about my 5'some wife formula, posting pictures of how the deadly combo would look and I posted a pic of a pig calling her Suvariya. From then name calling/fighting/quarreling/ on all stupid nonsensical things became a routine, making it a part of our lives. 😛
Just when IF was regaining all the lost momentum and liveliness a very unfortunate event temporarily took her away from us. As she was fighting with the circumstancesn her bad time, IF started looking pale and worn out. BBC thread dried up and I began to feel her real influence, more than that I should say I began to feel her real worth. Days were spent in selfish anticipations about the time it would take for her to recover from the loss she underwent. I was worried that she might not be the same person when she returns and even had doubts about her return.
But destiny had other plans. She to everyone's surprise came back with double the energy, double the passion and double the madness. Bak bak proliferated all throughout the forum and she started conquering every other thread with her madness, weirdness and dumbness. She was unofficially crowned the Queen of Bak Bak overpowering the old Queen--Feefs by a huge margin. All of this not only increased the respect I have for her but also made me feel so blessed to have known such a strong and amazing personality.
Good times were ahead. Her real name:Rupinder Kaur was revealed by Rubs for which he had to see her abusive side. 😆She was so convincing in her abusive act that Rubs even decided to quit the forum in guilt. 😆😆
Forum was going through a revolution and 2 of the most historic things took place during her reign:
1. Members started exchanging photos 
2. Members started talking over the phone. 
There was chaos and madness all over SGP IF. Seeing all this, the mom of the forum: Sheema aunty finally made it official---"SGP IF is under the rule of Ekta."
There was no getting away from this queen as she became the "Life of this Forum".

And Today(17th day of October) is the day, this amazing woman came to this Earth...
So to the Queen and Life of this forum who stole our hearts away here's wishing her
