why SGP suffers from dragfest ??

We always discuss about the dragfest in SGP causing boredom amongst audience but I guess we should give a glance on why SGP suffers from dragfest despite of having wonderful scripts and cast

Here are two reasons from my side ( which might not necessarily be correct) but still it makes some sense:

1) The makers of SGP chose a wonderful cast for SGP (all actors in SGP are very high profiled actors), the reason for this was they had a short and wonderful script in their hands. To elongate the same script they use their dragfest tool because they are confident that since the show is full of good actors, the audience will enjoy their act even if they drag the same plot. With the dragging of story SGP will run over a longer period of time and they will enjoy success for a longer period of time.

2) Also another which I think is the reason for dragfest is the time management issues with actors. After few months of successful run of SGP, the actors started taking other projects besides SGP.

Sailesh Gulabani (Raunak) – Sailesh after signing SGP, also took BANDINI and these days he is seen on BABA AISA VAR DHOONDO (IMAGINE CHANNEL). Because of other commitments of Sailesh, I guess Raunak- Panna track never got any acceleration.

Ragini Khanna (Suhana) – Ragini use to perform in lot of award functions (almost every award function other than SP organized) and she also participated in Jhalak Dikhlaja which required a lot of time. This was the time when Sona track was going on and the story of Ishaan-Suhana-Sonali was dragged like hell. The moment she was out of Jhalak, the Sona track ended.

Supriya Pilgaonkar (Badi Maa) – She participated in AMUL COMEDY KA MAHA MUQABLA although I don't think she would have faced the same problem as her role there wasn't as meatier as in SGP and besides it was a weekend show.

Tapeshwari (Sanjana) – Tapeshwari has gone for a vacation because of which the Deepak-Sanjana love story is hanged and god knows when it will resume.

Jay Soni (Ishaan) – Earlier he participated in Jubilee Comedy Circus but he left the show after doing just 3-4 episodes and now he has taken the job of anchoring Sa re ga ma pa Lil Champs. So we might see another dragfest in Ishaan-Suhana story.

Others like Pooja Kanwal anchored Jubilee Comedy Circus, Ankita Kanwal ( Dadi) is doing Ring Wrong Ring (SAB TV) alongwith SGP and Bhairavi ( Rajni) was out of SGP for around 15 days as she had to complete her segment in BALIKA VADHU

NOTE: I am not bashing out on actors neither blaming nor questioning their commitment or sincerity of actors towards SGP. They all are wonderful actors and have done awesome job till date and I love them all. It is just my thinking that when they take other projects besides SGP then it would surely affect the pace of the tracks in which they are involved.

That's what I think about dragfest. I may be right or wrong. Do share your views and other points causing dragfest.
