Kashyap family thrilled about Macao trip

STAR Plus' prime time show Sasuraal Genda Phool's team is now heading to the beautiful city of Macau for the STAR Parivaar Awards 2011!

This time the theme of the STAR Parivaar is Honge Sapne Saakaar-Star Parivaar. The Venetian Macau will be the scintillating venue for the grand ceremony that will take place on 24th of February.

Commenting on this grand occasion, the whole team of Sasuraal Genda Phool who are very excited to be the part of this event said, "We are very happy that the Kashyap family would be heading towards Macau for the first time. We have planned a lot for the event but won't reveal as it will be a cool surprise for the audience."

We spoke to Inder aka Jiten Lalwani, "It's certainly an achievement for STAR Plus and our parivaar as we will be going to The Venetian Macau for the first time and I am really looking forward for the awards and various acts prepared by all stars." Supriya Pilgoankar aka Badi Maa also revealed, "I am eagerly waiting to meet the other members of STAR Parivaar and its commendable that this time STAR Plus has taken the awards to an international venue. I want the audiences to watch our Parivaar enjoying at Macau."

Ishaan aka Jai Soni couldn't keep his grin off his face, "I am very excited about going to The Venetian Macau and to be acclaimed internationally. Mostly Bollywood celebrities are seen internationally, now even television artistes will make their presence felt worldwide. I am thankful to STAR Plus and my parivaar for being part of this show. Suhana and I will be performing a romantic number but it's a secret that I can't talk about it yet. Just wait and watch and enjoy our performance. I have a lot of plans for my visit to the beautiful city of Macau."

Raunak aka Shailesh Gulabani added, "I am really looking forward for this grand event. Ashita and I are quite thrilled about STAR Parivaar. I want to congratulate STAR Plus for hosting such grand family event internationally. I am hoping that our show wins maximum awards at the ceremony."

STAR Parivaar will begin with five build-up properties, starting from 28th March. The lead-up episodes will be aired till April 1st, followed by a special episode called 'Hum Toh Chale Pardes' on 2nd April between 6-7 PM. On April 3rd, Shubh Aagman or the Red Carpet, anchored by Ashita Dhavan Gulabani from Bidaai, will be aired at 7.30 PM. The main event will be telecasted on 3rd April from 8 PM onwards.

SPA 2011 goes international!

Television world's much-loved awards, The Star Parivaar Awards 2011, is all set to go international this year! SPA 2011 is to be held at a grand ceremony at The Venetian Macau in the exotic land of Macau on April 3. What's more, there are also some exciting programmes lined up before the Awards!

Star Plus will present an exclusive 30-minute programme about the Awards every day from March 28 to April 1, at 5.30 PM. Hum toh Chale Pardes, a special episode about The Venetian Macau, will be showcased between 6 to 7 PM on April 2. The red carpet to the Awards, Shubh Aagman, will be showcased on April 3, at 7.30 PM. The Awards ceremony will be held on April 3, between 8 and 11.30 PM.

Viewers will be able to watch their favorite stars' unique experiences, the uncensored fun and adventure at bungee jumping sessions, rehearsals, cultural interaction with local talents, etc. at Macao. They will see a different side to their favorite Parivaar members as the reality camera follows and captures their each move, and their moments of excitement and anxiety from the time the news breaks, till the culmination event. There will be some amazing stunts, breathtaking performances and spectacular visuals, which will together result in a never-before-seen spectacle, a grand opening act and a surprise mega-finale that summarizes this year's 'wish-fulfillment' theme.

The Star Parivaar Awards were introduced by Star Plus in 2003 as the first ever official recognition for the creative television community of actors, directors, writers, producers and technicians who have delivered on the Star Plus promise of exceptional television content, reaching out to millions of Indian homes day after day. From there on, the Awards have only become bigger and better.
