I dont think it's odd. I dont know if you watched the part when Suhana and Ishaan got married, but on their first night, Suhana had told Ishaan that she was not suppose to get married to him but to a rich guy, and Ishaan is not rich. Although Suhana has adjusted very well, Ishaan still doesnt know that Suhana have feelings for him and anyone with self respect would not do anything that would put him down (yet again). Plus, every now and then, Suhana pulls Ishaan's leg, not a bad thing but you have to put yourself in Ishaan's shoes. Can you imagine what Suhana's reaction would be if Ishaan tells her that he loves her? First she would be able to stop laughing and finally when she would stop laughing, she would start calling Ishaan Anmol Palekar Season 2 or Thakur and that would hurt Ishaan deeply. So, in opinion, Ishaan can not tell Suhana that he loves her until Suhana tells him.
