True - we agree 100%. SGP is by all means the best serial on now. Infact, in SGP they are trying to even improve the story from OBS - and making it more interesting.

I hope it receives due recognition.

very true sevak...though its only me who watches SGP at home..and my mom maximum tries catch the repeats...i havent had any problems watching it at home in the night...

my dad hates serials...be it any language...he says serials are always crying..cursing..fighting and all...and when he returns from office it will be exactly 7.30pm...he used to see sometimes what is happening in SGP...(he doesnt know hindi and hence hates hindi)bt he has never objected or commented bad on SGP...thats a great sign for me...he has always allowed me to watch it...

for me that shows how good SGP is....

If they don't consider SGP as a copy show from OBS then what's the need of making the show on same plot. Actually its a Star's gameplan to make some cash on the theme because it did well in Bengal. So they made it national and create it in Hindi.

Just wanted to ask....Whats wrong with it in the first place???😕😕I mean..a homegrown regional show...has been remade...and its being recognized in the national level...The show which was previously restricted to just the TV sets of West Bengal is now being watched by every household across India.....So is it bad to remake a show??And I dont think STAR wanna cash on the success of OBS and remake it in hindi....One article mentioned about the risk Mr.Ojha had taken to remake it in hindi..So i guess...it was the production house's decision to remake the show...and now..after winning so many regional awards for OBS..A regional prod house is getting national recognition thru ITA Awards,TRP's,Well wishers,etc..which I guess...is an awesome thing..coz Mr.Ojha really deserves it...Just think..if OBS wouldnt have been remade..we wouldnt have SGP ...and not even this forum where ur accusing SGP to be a copy show...Please stop this copy show thingy.....There's something called as OFFICIAL HINDI ADAPTATION..and SGP is one such adaptation of OBS..😊
