A Mother is also a woman

This thought and reality has been so beautifully potrayed here. Radha Bua has been thro' a worst ordeal that a woman can ever imagine. and on top of that having a son that resembles her rapist is like sar ke upar se pani. What a painful memory it might be for her.
We always say that a mother can do anything for her child. Even in our culture it is said that a mother is a form of god but the truth is that she is also a woman. A mother is someone who makes sure her child is safe, become a good person, have values and is loved. I think this is what Radha bua did. She kept him away from her but still amongst the people who loved him. she made sure he got a good upbringing, good education, as ther will be always a fear in her mind that he has the genes of a person who is purely evil. she never showed her love for him bcoz she must have feared that in the fist of anger she wud say something from her past which will shatter his future. she wanted him to be safe. no one was allowed to talk to him i.e the younger generation bcoz she didnt want any questions raised. that is what a mother does keep her child safe....And now we really saw her love. the scene wher Alok is trying to tell her abt Deepak's condition and she said she just want to see her son...that was mindblowing. and today when she explained her majboori to deepak ...i dont have any words for her.
And about deepak I am sure it is all bcoz of the values he got from the kashyap family and ofcourse from his mom that he was able to understand the bitter truth of both of their lives.
I really want to thank the creatives for conveying such a complex emotion is such a beautiful manner.

so many views and no reply. actually we could discuss how we cope with our mother issues. i am sure everybody must have had their differences with their mothers. do we really understand her?

hey freelancer...

thanks for writing...very nice post...keep writing more

the scene u mentioned of RB with Alok..wowo..i really like that moment..and yesterdays scene too..the way RB was telling deepak abt her past...she controlled herself from breaking down..and deepak realising the truth..it was a fantastic scene...

i think the situation is lot more clear now...RB can be free with deepak..ad deepak too can understand RB's pain...RB has been a good mother...though cud not express...but now she can do that and start a new life with deepak..and take care of him...looking forward to more of it...

@freelancer
Hi freelancer.... Welcome to our forum..Bouncy 2... I am glad nowadays many more matured minds r opening up to their thots and expressing it in the forum..😃...FL, thanks for posting such a beautiful thread..... Hey.... u hit the Jackpot with your first thread...😲😲😲.. it is so good ...man.......
Your thots on Mother is also a woman....i wud like to say in RB's case it was more of the other way round previously.... the woman in her always came to the fore than the mother ....it is now the mother in RB which has come to the fore because of Deepak's attempt....
I loved this track in SGP as it talks about a very sensitive role a woman plays .... of a MOTHER...... SGP tried to pass the message subtly yet so effectively that no matter how much a woman suffers.... she does give up anything for her child.... which is what RB did for Deepak.... We must have expressed our anguish at her behaviour at times and thot... "hey bhagwan..... hamesha apne past ka rona lekhar bait jaati hai.... Bete ke baare mein bhi toh sochna chaihiye...." But we forget RB has been traumatised by her past to such an extent that she cud only remember the rapist on seeing Deepak's face... How cud she accept him whole-heartedly then.... She was first a woman ..... eventually Deepak's love gave birth to the mother in her and she started craving to hear of him.... to speak to him and now lost her battle to the heart which was of a mother......really enjoyed keying in your topic FL... please keep writing.... Loved your thots.....😃
@Shwetha
Shwets..... loved your post dear..😃.. but i don't agree one thing jaan..... u said RB has been a good mother.... Shwets... we can never say this mother is good or this mother is bad.... A mother is just a MOTHER so always good..... we cannot have any adjective for the term mother.... She is beyond any terms.... A woman bears all the kicks and the pain for bringing in the life into the world .... and yet for such a noble deed.... if we start framing adjectives for them.... it is not fair na....there r no adjectives which can describe her nobleness...!
God made mothers because he cannot be everywhere..... So next time just state...RB is now a mother.... it will say it all.....😃
Edited: (sorry shwets.... wrote this post before watching the episode and had only read your update.... saw in the episode too... Suhana says "Radha bua.... aap ek achhi maa hai...." to pacify her role as a mother....so probably that statement striked u while posting this....😆)

At the outset..wanted to say that its indeed a great post...with some equally great responses..!! Luvd reading everyones POV...!!

U are totally right when u say that a 'mother is also a woman' and indeed its many times that as a child we overlook this aspect..!! That we ought to take a step back and think about her feelings and not keep on doing as we please in case it hurts her ..just coz we know that at the end of the day.. a 'mother is a mother' who wuld love and support her child unconditionally.
While as u said..RB has nurtured Deepak ...the important question is whether it was out of choice or compulsion. If it was out of choice then her revulsion to him and continuous indifference have definitely pained Deepak in more ways than one. When u say that She kept him among the people who love him.....i think its Factually incorrect. Radha kept Deepak at arms length always and tried to keep him away from several members of the Kashyap family ..remember how Deepak had to stay, eat and sleep in HIS ROOM whenever he dropped by at the kashyap parivar....how him laufing and njoying wit the family wuld displease her?? At the end of the day RB bringing up Deepak even if out of her own choice...appears to be a compelled decision...!!
RBs feelings...her hurt ...her pain....and her revulsion has no parallels and i have the greatest of respect for the same....but punishing an innocent person for someone elses deeds also deserves to be disapproved.
Finally hats off to the CVs for dealing this sensitive subject so well..!!

laxmi di...i cannot tell that is exactly the case(meaning RB's case)...bt i have seen people who curse the children and u knw sometimes hurt them too..to kind of ease their pain..RB here did not speak with deepak...which is better than other brutal things..RB had all the pain for herself..she did not give that pain to deepak...its true deepak had to go thru other different things..

true Shwets.... but in RB's case.... the mother in her too suffered this separation from her child.... though she was not giving up to her heart and always defended her mind..... Deepak's suicide blow made it all erupt and pour her heart out.... Else she wud have been mum even now... so the pains they suffered were mutual though from RB's side not revealed much.....but allzzz well that ends well.... now that they r together.... the track will be lighter....
