Hello Friends!!

As I was watching today's episode I realized how money plays an important role in our daily lives.

So, I have come up with a few questions that we can discuss for this week.

According to you, what is the importance of money in our daily lives?

Do you believe that money can change ones attitude and behavior towards others?

In todays episode we saw Badi ma says "See how money can change someone". Radha Bhua says she must stop Suhana yet Badi Ma says now she must stop Disha from giving out money like that to Meena". What do you make out of this statement? Suhana who had no shortage of money throughout her life vs. Disha who comes from a middle class family. Another important note: Elesh who was basically jobless till this time on the show has finally found a job. And its not a typical job one would get without any experience and he's getting paid well enough. Could this be the reason why we see a sudden change in Disha's behavior (well thats what Badi ma thinks atleast).

On the other side of the story we see Rounack and Panna. Rounack who was spending money as if there is no tomorrow is now in deep crisis with his job. On top of that he has a huge ego problem where he doesn't want to take any common job, thats below is "Status". He doesn't want to compromise with the status and salary he had in his previous job. On top of that he doesn't even want to talk to his juniors (the phone call his dad received yesterday from one of his colleagues who was junior in job status to him. What do you make out their situation? Can money cause one to have ego?

Well thats all I have for now!!

I hope to see members participate in this discussion.

Enjoy,

Aman

I do believe this. I will say 99% people do change when they get cash in their pocket.

I really don't this that Disha's behaviour has changed. In my home too, sometime we give 100 or 200 rupees to those who work. So I believe she just told that in a casual way. But here the problem is Meena is like a kid, she is not matured. She really don't know how to manage this kind of situation. Meena started weighing Disha and Suhana based on the amount they gave to her. So the best way will be as Badima said, stop giving cash to Meena separate. May be if they wanna give, they can increase her salary and give like that.

On the other side of the story we see Rounack and Panna. Rounack who was spending money as if there is no tomorrow is now in deep crisis with his job. Yes, I must say money is a main factor for almost all problems in our life.... Kisike paas paise nahi hein tho kisike paas paise zyada hein... Raunak was in such a position that now he is not able to come back because of his ego. Initially I felt that its good, let him try for a job that he likes, but now its too late for Raunak. He has to accept whatever job he gets. Otherwise he is gonna be in big trouble.

The way old Kashyap Bahus behave is quite justified, in my eye. Like you've put it, they belong to wealthy familes yet are managing very well with a decent amount of money. Giving the maid a hundred rupee note is certainly not a new thing however, Suhaana's way of giving away the same money seems new to the maid, as she has more to offer.

The matter of fact is that most people do change when they've got money in their pockets, like never before. With money, comes power and hence, even a poor maid servant inculcates the audacity to argue with her mistresses. Power makes a diiference, money makes a difference.

And as far as Raunaq's case is concerned, he's got a nature of such kind. There shall be no involvement of the money speaks thingy. He's a man of such manner, he's not only extravagant but is more or less like his mother, though he's not vain.

I can relate his character with my father. He's made mistakes with money, he's been an extravangant son to a regular government employe and now is the father to two spoilt kids who cannot cut down on their expenses, anyhow. It's not that he never told me he couldn't afford something I wanted to buy, he did but sadly, by that time this habit had grown enough in me. Same is the problem with Raunaq, even after this turmoil . . he might not be able to change his habits. Quite possible.
