STAR Plus' popular primetime show Sasural Genda Phool is about family ties and values and shows a lot of onscreen love between members of the Kashyap family.

The reason why it looks so natural onscreen is because all the actors get along well famously off screen as well.

Informed one of our sources, "All the actors of Sasural Genda Phool share a special bond. Ragini Khanna, who plays Suhana, spends time rehearsing with Badi Maa, Suraj Thapar (Alok). Shyam (Elesh) loves talking about food with his onscreen brother Inder. All the actors sit together during lunchtime in the makeup room of one of the actors. Anita Kanwal (Dadi) brings some really tasty food for the actors as well."

The actors are close, especially Inder and Elesh, who are provide a lot of laughter on the sets with their antics. They always play pranks on Ishaan, but at the same time they are a support system to each other. "They have become a family off the sets as well," said our source.

Suhana told us that interacting with the Kashyap family onscreen as well as off screen was like interacting with her family. "We've all become so close and we are there for each other during the good times and bad. That's what a family is about," she said.

We also caught up with Dadi, who said that her family was her life. "I love spending time with my grandchildren as well as Suhana, who is the life of our family," she said.

Badi Maa also agreed that Suhana was the life of the family. "Initially I was worried about Ishaan and Suhana, but now I'm glad that everything is going well for them. I love Suhana like my own daughter. It was a little worrisome when they landed in jail, but I'm glad that things have been sorted out."
