On a more positive note, I met Dadi's childhood friend, Anupama, who seemed thoroughly impressed by me. And in the midst of all this, I'm still trying to figure out a way to tell the Kashyap family that I'll be leaving soon.
Pension confusion
I had accompanied Dadaji to his office to collect his monthly pension. I was furious when the clerk at the office said that as per the records Dadaji has been declared dead. He refused to acknowledge that dadaji is alive, so I deleted all the records from his computer, which made dadaji very happy. He told me that if the situation is like this, a lot of retired people would be going through the same problem. The office clerk was worried and eventually rectified his mistake, as his job was also at stake. Dadaji called me a godsend and went on to introduce me to everyone in the office. It was a very nice feeling and I felt very happy when they all praised me.
Talking love with Inder bhaiya
Inder bhaiya and me got talking and the conversation steered towards love and how people interpret it. He said that it is not wrong to fall in love many times, but one should realise when true love comes their way. He added that everyone in the family, except for Ishaan has had a love marriage. I really enjoyed having this talk with him.
Dada-Dadi get romantic
It was so endearing to see dadi trying to pacify dadaji. She even sang to him in order to appease him. It was very heartening to see so much love between them and how they enjoy their small lover's tiffs and how quickly they make-up. It really shows that age is no bar for love.
Guests arrive
Later in the week, Dadi's best friend, Anupama, came home to meet me. I had to dress up like a bride and felt suffocated wearing all the heavy jewellery, but dadi told me that I could wear accessories I was comfortable in. Finally when I did meet her, she seemed very happy with me and didn't stop praising me till the end. I felt very happy.
But I will soon have to inform all of them about leaving home. I'm really feeling bad about hurting them, but what has to be done must be done. I will keep you all posted about the latest developments, but in the meanwhile, do send in your suggestions/messages to me at suhana@starplus.in and don't forget to watch my show every Monday-Friday at 7:30 on STAR Plus.
Here are my replies to some of your messages:
Madhumati: Hi Suhana, this is Madhumati. I love your show and your acting. You also look very beautiful and Ishaan and you make a lovely couple. I hope to see you in more serials.
Suhana: Hi Madhumati, thanks for the compliments. I really like your name.
Ramya: Hi Suhana, My name is Ramya and I am from US. I follow your show regularly. I really like your bubbly nature and how you have transformed after marriage. Like all other comments you have received I would like to say that Kashyaps are really nice people and Ishaan has always been there for you during your tough times. So i would hope you don't tell them you are moving out of the house and walking away from your marriage. If you have to do that i hope you gather the entire family and explain it to them instead of just telling them and walking out. Also i love your OMG expression..:)
Suhana: Hi Ramya. Thanks for complimenting me and my lovely family. Ishaan has been an ideal husband who has supported me in my bad times. And I'm glad to have such a caring family. Continue watching.
