Topic: I don't think he loves Disha AT ALL! He did, he wouldn't want to see her miserable, embarrassed and crying due to his situation.

But don't you think Elesh should be the most responsible one here? Suhana may have been pampered but that was when she lived with her dad but now she lives with a completely new family. Her life has taken a 360 degrees turn since the day she stepped into the Kashyap household. She is the newest addition but Elesh belongs there.He has been there since forever yet he has no sense of responsibility towards his OWN family?

Thanks😳, I didnt know this. So that explains the soft corner of family members towards Elesh. Now he has been brought up with love and affection, made to feel "poor him" so that must have psyched him to feel he is indeed under privileged hence comfortable with others doing things for him. This wont make him feel ashamed too as he reasons it with him being at a disadvantage, less privileged. The "poor me" thing has stuck him hard and he lives by it. Its given him success( in terms of getting what he wants) so he wont leave it and the more he gains out of it the more he is going to exploit it. Disha only feels bad when she starts to compare with other male earners Or else she wldnt have married him or kept a condition. Also No one makes him feel responsible or accountable. May be once he starts his family will it hit him hard.🤔

Any self-respecting human being ...who is also married ...would feel embarassed beyond limits to behave the way he does..... And honestly..now even i feel that he really doesnt hv any SHAME..😒

I guess they put up with his behavior because he doesn't have any parents... dadi ji bought a jeans for him because since he doesn't have his own parents to look out for him (which they shouldn't cause he's all grown up and married now) his relatives have to take extra care of him so he doesn't remember his parents hence the extra attention and care..... but I agree that Elesh has to be more mature, and responsible now...he is married and has duties to fulfill towards his wife and the rest of the household.

Of course! There is no doubt in my mind that Elesh should work.

But I thought that it was a brilliant observation from Shwetha. See in our society, men and women are expected to don certain roles. Like men work and provide for the family. Women look after the household etc... with times changing, even women started working (btw both my grandmom, and my mom have worked, so I am all for women empowerment :-)) But in the West sometimes, there are stay at home dads by choice! They look after the household, and the kids, while their wives work. It doesn't matter as long as there is contentment and the income is sufficient to meet the needs of the household. But Disha works BECAUSE Elesh doesn't and they still come short on cash, is wrong.

In Ishaan and Suhana's case - Suhana comes from a rich background, and even Ishaan's situation (individually) isn't bad - both he and his dad works. But in Disha and Elesh's situation, since there is no back-up, ideally they both should work. But Elesh's unwillingness to contribute to the family coiffures is the root cause of problem IMO. And the fact that Elesh doesn't read between Disha's tears is even more sad.

i feel because ilesh had the family supporting him...he is not feeling the necessity to be responsible...he has his uncle alok,badi maa,inder,ishaan everybody supporting him and is confident that they wont let him down...so he is living his own way...but if he was allowed to be independent...to live his life..may be he would have been responsible...just my opinion..cos ilesh is a very confusing character..
