TOI: Bhairavis burning desire to win!

Kitchen Champion, India's only kitchen reality show, took an interesting turn when Avika Gor won against Bhairavi Raichura aka Bhagwati in the mother-daughter competition.

After her defeat, charged with the will to reach the next level, struggling Bhairavi challenged Smita Singh, her own team member to make sabz begam bahar. In an attempt to fuel the competition with some heat, Bhairavi ended up burning her hand while cooking the dish.

The show's host, Ronit Roy and the chef Judge offered to lend their hands as she stoically continued to work after applying turmeric. An enthusiastic Bhairavi, who managed to win the contest in the episode said, "I like to give my best in any situation and more so in a competition. Cuts and burns are a part of the game. Just because I cut a finger or burn my hand, doesn't mean I will stop cooking. I love cooking and a show like this allows me to display my talents in the kitchen. A little burn here and there just makes the contest more interesting."
