BAJPAI FAMILY
Suhaana Bajpai
A very modern and fun loving girl. Suhaana lost her mother when she was very young. So her father has fulfilled all her wishes to keep her happy and thus pampering her. Suhaana is very adamant and short tempered. If she likes something she wants that at that moment. And she keeps something only if she likes it. She is very lavish and loves partying. She loves her sister very much. But behind this fun character is a very innocent and childish Suhaana who craves for her mother's love.
Kamal Kishore Bajpai (KK)
Father of Suhaana and Sanjana. KK is a very successful businessman. After the death of his wife Vinysha, KK has taken full responsibility of bringing up his daughters. For KK life means his daughters. He has done everything to keep his daughters happy. He has tried to give all the love he has but still feels he has not been able to give their mother's love. He has always hidden the fact from his daughters that he still misses his wife a lot and thinks a lot about her. He fears the day when both his daughters will leave the house to their sasural.
Sanjana Bajpai
The younger sister of Suhaana. Sanjana is much more responsible than Suhaana. She understands her sister better than her father. She is a sweet and quiet girl, exactly opposite to Suhaana. She likes to stay mostly at home with her father. Sanjana is a very good badminton player and always starts her day playing badminton with her father. She is in her final year of college.
The Bajpai house is mostly silent. But with Suhaana in the house there is sure to be lots of fireworks. When both the sisters need anything, they never ask their father. They demand it from him. The Bajpai House's life is the sisters.
KASHYAP FAMILY
Ambernath Kashyap (Dadaji)
He is a very fun loving person. Retired, he mostly spends time reading newspapers and loves playing carom and chess with his son and grandsons. He loves fighting with his wife for fun. He loves his daughter-in-laws and treats them as his daughters.
Gayathri Kashyap (Dadiji)
She is loved by everyone in the family. She is the cool dadiji and understands youth very well and even changes accordingly. She too treats her daughter-in-laws as her own daughters and shares a great bonding with them and the entire family. Both she and dadaji are the life of the Kashyap House. They have 2 sons and 2 daughters.
Shailaja Kashyap (Badi Maa)
Badi Maa is the eldest daughter-in-law of the family. She is one of the two pillars of the family. No decisions will be made without her consent. She is a like mother to everyone. With Badi Maa in the house there will never be any problems between anyone. She has 1 son and 1 daughter, both married. Each and every person in the house respects and adores her.
Alok Kashyap
Second son of dadaji-dadiji. Alok is a very responsible and honest person. He is the other pillar of the family. For him family comes first. He always wants to see his family happy and is always concerned about them. He has great respect for Badi Maa and always seeks her advice. After his elder brother left the family and Badi Maa for his own career, Alok has taken all the responsibilities on his shoulders. He works for a bank and gets a good salary.
Rano Kashyap
Wife of Alok. She has always does what Badi Maa says. She loves her like her sister. She is a very innocent and lovable person and the children of the house loves teasing her for her innocence. But behind this innocence is a very caring person who always cares for the family and shares all her feelings with her husband Alok. Alok and Rano has 1 son and 1 daughter.
Inder Kashyap
Son of Badi Maa. Inder is a very mischievous person. He loves teasing his brothers and sisters. He along with his brother Ilesh runs a company. He likes spending time in the house instead of going out. If Inder is present in a place there is sure laughter.
Rajini Kashyap
Wife of Inder. She is the ideal daughter-in-law. She does all the work and loves everyone in the family. She understands everyone and loves Badi Maa. Inder and Rajini have 1 daughter, Meeti (5yrs).
Panna
She is Badi Maa's daughter. Married to Raunak she stays in the same city. She comes very often to the Kashyap house and is loved by everyone.
Ilesh Kashyap
He is the son of dadaji-dadiji's daughter. He lost both his parents at a very young age and is brought up in the Kashyap household. He and Inder run a company and he is very sincere to his work. Both the brothers' motto is never to discuss business at home. He is very intelligent and easily solves issues in the house. He and Inder is the best combination for roller coaster laughter ride.
Disha Kashyap
Wife of Ilesh. She loves her husband a lot. She is the ideal sister-in law and loves Rajini as her own sister. She loves the entire family and she shares a great rapport with Rajini and Inder.
Ishika Kashyap
Daughter of Alok and Rano. Ishika is a typical sister who gets all the things done by her brothers. She loves being with Disha and Rajini and helps Meeti with her studies. Ishika is in her 2nd year in college.
Radha Bua
She is the adopted daughter of dadaji-dadiji. But she has never been treated like that. Radha Bua is a very strict person and the entire family obeys her orders. But she never goes against the orders of Badi Maa and Alok. She loves Ishaan as her own son and always have a soft corner for him.
Ishaan Kashyap
Son of Alok and Rano and the youngest of the brothers. Ishaan is a very soft, simple and innocent person. He never gets angry even if his brothers make fun of him. In fact he loves when his brothers make fun of him. He loves his family and wants them to be always happy. He does whatever the elders ask him to do. He works as a civil engineer in a big company. Ishaan is a very confident person outside but he remains innocent at home. He never wants to show that his profession and work is better than the others. He is a very understanding person and cares for everyone in the house.
The Kashyap house is always full of noise. The bonding among the brothers and sisters is very strong that there is no feeling that they are cousins. There is always fun and happiness and the family knows how to turn bad times into a happy one.
OTHER CHARACTERS
Dolly Didi and Gopi Kaka
Dolly Didi and Gopi Kaka work in the Bajpai house. They are more like a family to the sisters. Gopi Kaka has been working there for more than 12-13 years and has seen both the sisters grow. Dolly Didi has been working for more than 8yrs now. For both Suhaana and Sanjana, Dolly is like their elder sister. Both have a lot of respect for Gopi Kaka too. KK at times shares his feeling with Gopi Kaka.
Suli and Sudi
Best friends of Suhaana. Suli-Sudi always hangs out with Suhaana. Suhaana is their leader. Suli-Sudi has no worries. They just love to party, shopping and sleep. Suhaana sometimes tries to make them do something useful but always failed. Whatever may be they are true friends of Suhaana. Their lifestyle may be different but their friendship is very pure.
Roshan
Only friend of Ishaan. Roshan belongs to a very rich family. He and Ishaan studied together from school. Roshan then went to US for his graduation while Ishaan studied in Delhi. Roshan is a very humble, down to earth and a true friend of Ishaan's. He never brings his status in friendship. He has always solves Ishaan's problems at school. But Ishaan has always found himself awkward being with Roshan. Ishaan always makes excuses from meeting him but loves talking with him through phone and shares all his secrets with him.
