Like you, I too loved the graph of this scene....how it began and where it ended....so many layers, so many shades to it....just so beautifully shown....love, love, LOVE this show! And yes, Ishaan-Suhana do grow more adorable by the day! LOL....even more than my expectations...haha

@ bold: Awww good point. You know, I think you mentioned this in one of our earlier discussions, that these two aren't even AWARE of how much closer they're getting to each other. Their emotions and gestures just shows that. The way Ishaan subconsciously wipes Suhana's tears, and just the way these two tear up. I mean they jatt se tear up and can laugh and just be themselves around each other and they're not even aware of just how special their connection is. Ishaan I guess does more than Suhana, but I don't think even he knows how much he really cares about Suhana. Like you said, her vulnerability really does affect him. And we've seen that so many times, even in the initial Sid wale episodes.

Yeah, when this whole issue came along, I just thought Ishaan would yell at Suhana a bit and maybe get through to her about what she did wrong or something like that. But what they showed was SO much better. They brought about SO much more than just that khanna issue. I just loved how Ishaan communicated all his feelings to Suhana. From telling her that he'd like to be himself, to telling her what's awesome about HER. This show def. keeps you surprised!

I think this scene really progressed their relationship. Even, you know cleared the air I guess. I just love how these two TALK and communicate and just keep everything in the open with each other. It's really building their relationship along.

LOL *touchwood* indeed! But somehow I've started to have faith that this show won't go downhill like most shows do.....there is something truly different about it *touchwood again*😆

@bold: Very well pointed out....he drove home to her the point that he wants to be himself....and also what he thinks is so amazing about HER as you said....and isn't that just the sweetest thing?? awww.....I cracked up in the bit where Ishaan was like, "In some ways I've started to understand you better than you understand yourself" and Suhana suddenly gets angry again and goes, "So you're trying to tell me that I don't even know myself and YOU know everything about me?"😆

I also love how they TALK, communicate....it's like almost UNHEARD of in desi TV land😆😆....their relationship is being built beautifully for sure!

*Edit: And yes I agree that this scene did really progress their relationship.....I think it's a bit of a turning point in some ways the same way the way the scene after the muh dikhaayi ceremony was when they kinda had a proper confrontation for the first time......with this scene today, like you said....for the first time Suhana has become directly aware of how he really sees her....understands her, looks beyond her brattishness to the softie that she is inside.

LMAO I KNOW!! I think we were talking about this last time too ki how they don't get all those tried and tested "hit jodi" formulas. All those eye locks, trip fall, jungle mein mangal type faltu ke scenes. All their scenes are important to their relationship. All of their scenes has only progressed their relationship forward.

Also loved that other bit you mentioned in your previous post. I seriously love how Ishaan sometimes says these things. Like in this other previous scene of theirs how Ishaan goes, "Tum bhi toh aissa hi sochti ho na mere bare mein" or something like that when Suhana is talking about how Elesh and all were making fun of Ishaan. In that scene post the Elesh incident. You know what I'm talkin' about right? 😆

But ya I really feel for Ishaan in those moments. But I really love him for knowing what Suhana thinks of him but still being true to himself and not wanting to change. He's SUCH a sweatheart of a person! 😆

@bold: LOL yeppp I totally know which scene you're talking about....and I totally concur....he says these things so softly sometimes....yet there is a lot of poignancy behind them....like in that scene....when he says it, Suhana's expression changes as if it made her pause in that moment....but she doesn't say anything.....and this time also he said that, 'kyun ki mujhse shaadi' line and she kinda looks at him and then looks away.

Word to your last line....I also love him for knowing what Suhana thinks of him yet he is still true to what he is....I remember during the sunglasses argument, he said this one line, "Aisi 'smartness' jo chashme pehen ke aati hai, woh mujhe nahin chahiye"....I loved that line of his.....it's sometimes amazing that a guy who's so mercilessly teased and has his leg pulled allllllllll the time by his brothers, bhabhis, almost everyone in the house....still has such self-confidence when it comes to the kind of person he is....he is comfortable with who he is and doesn't want to change that.

Yeah, totally. I love how HE surprises Suhana from time to time too na? I mean Suhana toh hai hi unpredictable but it's amazingly sweet when Ishaan also manages to surprise Suhana sometimes and really makes her reflect on what he's said.

But ya, aww I really feel like hugging Ishaan everytime he says these kinds of things. I think Suhana too doesn't know what to say to this or how to react. Usko khud nahin patah ki WHY she married him. lol I guess it was fate, meant to be. 😍 😆...heyyyyy this is NOT just me being my cheesy self ok? Badi ma also mentions this at one point to radha bua. So there. *smug muh*

But I do like how they've both come to terms with their relationship and have accepted it.

@ Bold: Aww yeah I loved that line too. And totally agree with all you've said in bold. You've put that so well. That's what I love about Ishaan. He's not your typical bhondhu geek types, and I think Suhana is starting to realize this slowly too. I love how Ishaan is always true to himself and real. He's genuine and says things from his heart. And I think that's the best kind of husband Suhana can ask for. Someone who's open and honest, and sees her for who she really is. Aww love these two :)
