Nishant is on cloud nine!
RUMAN GANGULY , TNN, Jun 1, 2010, 12.00am ISTNishant Malkani, Kolkata's model-and-actor, is on cloud nine. He has bagged a meaty role in the megaserial Ravi Ojha's Sasural Genda Phool which is based on the Bengali serial, Ogo Bodhu Sundari.
"I always wanted to be a part of Ravi Sir's project. I've heard that OBS is quite popular among the Bengali audience. In SGP, I play a mysterious man who hails from a rich family. Few are aware about his whereabouts. I'm paired opposite Sanjana, who plays the younger sister in the serial. I think my character is called Raj," informed Nishant, adding, "Since Ravi Sir is not keeping well, the serial is now being directed by Manisha Dwivedi."
