Hehehe😛
Sasural genda Phool is so similiar to my story OMG
like suhana ,i am bought up in a big house.servansts/car etc(just that i am not kiddish)
when i married i did see my hubby vihaan's pic etc
But i had to to do lots of adjustment s
I met vihaan at his other house a bunglow(assumed we would stay there after marriage realised that it was kept on rent as vihan and his sis live in USA)
But for 8 months ater marriage i lived in india completeing my education /and experience for job
from a huge 5 bedroon house0 i lived in a one room kitchen
with my MIL and FIL
😡unlike the serial my in laws or not a % bit like them
Its better not said much about them, more of gold diggers
Even though as a ideal married girl i never complaint about anything
I always had my car prior marriage now i was traveeling in Public transport.
cooking at home washing utensils no help whatsoever
offcourse i did cook prior to marriage.
worst part they never invited my parents to the other house untill i completed 4 months of marriage
and when my dad saw all of it he just had tears in his eyes and said he was proud of me for
not complaining any time(my mom had searched for the boy and not scrutized his background as common friends knew)
Well my MIL never had a good word to talk about me ever ,after doing all to please her
taking care etc..She calls me bade ghar ki,
She will always step on my toe for sanskar bhashan, well vihaan is a athesit (what more can is say)
Now i like in US..its a littel bit peaceful
I guess i just grew stronger
i

Even am married so i do understand how you feel...well am not indian but i come from a hindu family , i come from a very well known family and my parents as very well placed ...and am the only child too .i never had to asked my parents for something twice as i always had what i wanted ,one thing i can say is that in-laws will always be in-laws ...they can never ever be able to match your own parents...i always thanks my luckly stars that i lived in london and they live in another country and my hubby is always by my side... but i always wished that i could have the same love from my in-laws that they give their daughter, that my parents gave me....anyway thats life...
