SM written updates 16th-20th March

Tamizh, Myna, Meenatchi and Soundarya are having dinner on a rainy night. Tamizh asks Meenatchi where her husband is. All shocked. Myna reminds him about Vettaiyan cycling. Tamizh is worried and calls Douglas. He advises Douglas to serve Vettaiyan dinner and rest for a while. Douglas says he will eat after the rain stops and will try to talk to the referee. Tamizh and Myna, and subsequently Meenatchi stop eating. Myna is surprised that Meenatchi leaves. Sou says she is washing her hands off him angrily.

Vettaiyan rides on in the night and early morning. Kali asks Douglas to tell Vettaiyan that he has forty minutes of rest after riding for eight hours continuously. Vettaiyan though tired refuses to listen.douglas prompts him. Vettaiyan agrees but is unstable when getting off. Douglas feels his forehead and realises he has fever. Vettaiyan is insistent on riding. Kali calls his friends to help carry Vettaiyan. They start to treat him. Kali decides to prepare a kashayam but suddenly realises that there is only forty more seconds for the break but is happy to see Vettaiyan cycling again.

Myna and Meenatchi go to see the cows. Meenatchi is sad that the cows got wet in the rain. Myna says kodumai that Meenatchi didn't worry about Vettaiyan getting wet in the rain. Meenatchi morachufies. Douglas comes to get another set of clothes for Vettaiyan and says he has fever and is wet but still riding. Myna is sad. Meenatchi asks if he is ok and tells him to tell Vettaiyan not to do vetti Bandha by cycling when sick. Myna asks if Meenatchi is happy now. Meenatchi says she didn't ask Vettaiyan to do this. Myna points out that he did this for her. Meenatchi says even though she wants him to lose she doesn't want him to die and says she doesn't know what to do with her love matter. She asks them not to cry for Vettaiyan and irritate her or they can leave her. She goes away. Myna says they are doing this for Meenatchi's sake and that she can't remain like this forever.
