I mean comeee onn its the two of them! Im not bashing btw...just saying...in USA ppl would think everyone has maids..but only like 0.5% of the population has maid...

Totally agree. I live in New Zealand. Here hardly anyone would have maids. My mum in law used to have a cleaner. But she only came once a week. That too, coz she has a big house and she was finding it hard to clean the whole thing on her own.

But Kumud dosent need a maid to do the house work in her apartment? I know Saras dosent want her to do housework all day. But the reality is that When you have a house, it is a day long job. Add kids to the equations and trust me, it is an endless job. I worked full time in finance, and that was easier than looking after a house and two kids full time. You hardly ever get a break. Unlike when you are working in an office!

So short answer is, NO Kumud dosent need a maid.

In india is customary to have atleast a part time help for cleaning and doing dishes. Since the houses are open, dirt and dust are a very big problem, hence the need for a maid.
But yes, I agree, as a stay at home person, and no kids she doesn't really need someone to come and cook and do the other odds jobs around the house.

Aur waise bhi, Kumud is smart and talented, she writes and paints well, I am sure she will find more constructive ways of spending her time.

I live in NZ too and we have never kept a cleaner - male or female.
