I too feel the same, the writers are still not sure what to do, and are just playing around waiting for something.

SC has never been so Timepass for such an extended period of time. Kumud who hasn't cried buckets for almost a month now, is extremely worrisome

I am enrolling mine. Pucca.
Awesome bytes Arshi.

And the episode was good. I didn't see ratnanagari scenes.
Saras's expression when he sees kumud in sari. Haye Haye. A la Rajesh khanna . Reminded me of the engagement episode when they meet by the pond-side. And he talks about missing out on decorating her on wedding day. Sacch mein school kholna hai.

This track also reminds me of pre-wedding track where we got lots of their scenes. So far so good.

This Kumud is lightened up, doesn't bite his head off at every opportunity, I had actually expected a lot more rona dhona at leaving RN, this one actually seems to be enjoying setting up her home with Saras.

For now this is good enough

Shrija ki shaadi nahi huyi na. So saras ka iss pehloo ko jisse hum admire kar rahe hain, wo shaayad uske liye utna important nahin hai.

Sahi baat, waise bhi, the easy familiarity with should have been seen between them long ago, is atlast visible.
The simple romance is good to see.
As for RN scenes, nothing worth seeing anyway. The two teenagers fighting and making faces at each other was anyway not needed

OH i completely missed the enrollement bit ..
well since i am the Saras n My kumud is there to add mirchi in my life is okay ill give it a miss ...as long as there is one saras n one kumud the jodi is complete 😆

watchman n secretary are like so as its not very uncommon for couples to pose as husband n wife in Mumbai for a house ...their scepticism is not unwarranted...its the landlord who is next in line in ''different shades of love'' a jugnu but with a psychotic twist ...

Arshicsji, I really enjoyed your take on the saraswathichandra husband school. The current course of events and improved writing in the show present a hopeful sign and fairly good prospects. To a certain degree the leading charac6ters and their associated sequences are given due attention and rightful treatment. In the past after the utter digression from original the show has been quite inconsistent which proved disastrous most of the times and showed great promise at times. Due to the complete turnaround in the story and the treatment the show had already lost touch with original script and the initial phase of the show but retained certain parts or elements of the basic structure and little of the original flavour and tone of the show. The show now has a more contemporary scenario. In no manner, in no situation, under no conditions the show is associated with the original design and concept. At present neither the show nor its characters draw any inspiration(not an iota) from the original version. The 'ehsaas' with which we connected to the show so far is now totally lost. With the current urban setup and the complete reverse of the approach, new format and characters the show appears brand new. The present phase has no direct or indirect bearing on its earlier form of the show. Also the leading characters are no more the same old personalities and now they reflect two new or different individuals. From now on the show can be viewed as a new and fresh show with just the title and names of characters retained. The makers can either forgo them or the show can carry a disclaimer about the story and characters having no bearing on the original saraswathichandra. That way we, the die-hard fans of the old version (SLB's) can get some peace and treat it as new with no further comparisons, reminiscences, recollection or old references. Currently the Mumbai sequence has begun on a promising note. Now after setting the premise how the plot unfolds remains to be seen. Even if it follows the beaten 'tracks based' approach as long as they keep the leads (samud) life as the central focus and the narrative is engaging we can continue to watch and give our support and appreciation. The major drawbacks like the the lack of consistency & logic , character butchery must be avoided to the greatest possible extent. Samud's love story and their strong as well as romantic relationship is of utmost importance to loyal fans. Our cvs must bear it in mind and they had better steer clear of the stereotypical and formulaic depiction of their relationship. They are matured individuals who must complement each other not contrast with each other, no matter what the circumstances are. Their characters must evolve, grow to explore new dimensions. The show started as an offbeat serial amidst the moronic daily soaps, with its different concept and brilliant story line. Despite going through several ups and downs it still continues to remain the same to a reasonable extent. Nowadays we get a fair share of exciting samud moments and a sizzling display of their fine chemistry. Cvs show special care, detailing, creativity to bring out realistic emotions and exquisite romance. Saras and kumud are always expressive and their romance never fails to click with the audience. They both connect well with each other romantically and also with the viewers with their genuine feelings and tenderness. In the last episode although their scene (photo studio) was delicately portrayed and they both were as pretty as a picture I was not much impressed because of the very idea behind it. Saras the eponymous hero of the show is a gentleman of complete integrity. Again taking a departure from his original self he produced fake proof. Cvs have already compromised and distorted his character a lot though kumud is their main victim. Of course they are two new characters in this new phase, hence the insecured and vulnerable kumud. Moreover if the show turns into the daily chronicles of the affairs of samud, desais, dansum, kabir-anu then it by no means will be different from certain nonsensical stuff we are served in the form of daily soaps. Talking of kabir-anushka scenes they are strikingly unoriginal and their nok-jhoks are presented in a very old-fashioned manner leaving audience thoroughly dissatisfied. The actress lacks originality and spontaneity. Sometimes she tones down tolerably, sometimes goes overboard. Kabir's aggressiveness, short temper , his grim expressions are not effectively coming off and are 'forced' due to the cvs' treatment of their characters and scenes. It would be better if we get a chance to give them a piece of our mind and drive some sense into them. Hope Mumbai gets extra footage and we get to see more of samud romance.

@lal04
Again very well said, Lal04, this show is now only a name sake with not as you aptly said an iota of resemblance to the original.

I didn't so much mind Saras agreeing to the false photo, since it was just about meeting an unnecessary requirement, of a wedding photo, and as they are already well and truly married, the charade was just a game for both of them. Not really cheating, if you look at it.

Thankfully even Kumud is being treated nicely and with kindness by the cvs, and this chilled out version 2.0 is much nicer than the khadoos v1.0

But the story is yet to unfold, what is the next disaster that waits to strike them, what crisis lurks biding it's time, as yet there is no clue!

As for kabir and anushka,

Recently I saw a street play done by 12 year olds in one of the schools, the theme was gender sensitivity. The play was cute, basically one boy screaming at a girl and the girl screaming at the boy, and others telling them not to!

Well in 12 year olds it was cute, but when 20 year olds do the same stuff ...

While I harbor no qualms in having some *much-needed* light heart fun, their impromptu drama reminded me of their disastrous "knock knock peekaboo night" and I found it to be pretty silly and juvenile.

Kumud throwing childish tantrums (Re: fussing so much about the how the new house is too tiny) doesn't sit well with her character IMO. Although in retrospect that mini stunt from her was to pave way for them to introduce the new villain of the show. Kumud's character scapegoating is getting unbearable and the viewer should not have so much animosity for a protagonist(I whine so much about her because she was once my most favorite characters in the show) and it's up for the creatives to fix this issue.
