Arshiji, we can't deny the fact that the cvs are offering us episodes full of variety(!) everyday due to our insistent demands. Day before yesterday it was a pleasant one, yesterday it was drama, today a rushed episode (note: not a fast paced). Yes I was wrong because I didn't expect danny-gumaan and LN-gumaan encounters along with gumaan's adieu to happen so soon. Rather I expected an explosive encounter between LN and gumaan with verbal, emotional onslaught. But the scene was not impactful in spite of having an actor of LN's calibre. Fed up with the writers' attitude of taking us for granted, constantly writing scenes devoid of logic. Actually VC along with others reached hospital after gumaan left. This is one instance out of many of late. In today's episode the saving grace was danny, but it was otherwise below average. In the danny-gumaan scene his acting was subdued(not melodramatic) yet apt and provided the necessary emotional impact as opposed to gumaan's undesirable,mad outcry. He is one actor who can outclass saras if given proper due. Nowadays though the dialogues have no depth overall the writers come up with impressive punch lines every now and then(bad by neeyat-halaat, bhai you substitute mother etc). Actually Pramad and kalika made grand exit, contrary to gumaan's exit (w.r.t performances). Her crazy antics under the guise of emotional outbursts are beyond one's tolerance. I wanted neither a prolonged gumaan bashing nor a repentance act from her because the actress would have delivered nothing. Also I hate the senseless gumaan's character butchery by cvs (turning an ordinary trickster, fraud, selfish character to an unrealistic cold-blooded murderer). It is good she was finally ousted from the show. Like LN if they bring back kumari, dadaji, sunny along with the much needed lighter moments it will infuse freshness into the show. Today's LN - saras patch-up scene reminded me of a similar scene in the good old days (in open courtyard outside haveli). What a striking difference between them in terms of the sensitivity, naturalness, beauty, classic approach, poignant dialogues etc. Of course the show has come long way and it has been completely distorted. Now it is extremely difficult to get back the good old charm, vision, structure, feel of the show because of the tracks-based no-story approach and the old team and the showman are not at the helm of things. We are also going to miss RN atmosphere and the haveli that are now the only remainings of the past memories of the show. Following the shift to a new location its like a new fresh show with the same name and leads (state of other characters unknown yet). Hope we do get a good creative team, more of samud life, plenty of romance and light moments, sensible and logical tracks with minimal twists and drama. P.S - laughing moment of the day - during LN, saras convo kabir standing far gave sudden jerk and fidget with wooden face. Real comedy awaits tomorrow.
