Well, the main problem I had was that the crisis did not call for Kumud to hurt herself so

They no longer have the dard ka rishta, or the barriers they had when she was married to pramaad , she is his wife now and so can reach out to him directly.

this was a normal fight on the marriage scale, and so the solution of hurting herself was too exaggerated

There saras wanted her to walk out on her husband and he was her ex love and here she just wants him to think not react so angrily to his younger brother and she is his wife

Regarding the diya. What emotional blackmail are we on about? Even Saras ripped his hand with a pen so Kumud stands up for herself in front of Pramad. Saras should be in the prayer, he should be beside Kumud but he's not. Pain is what connects them and it's a bit filmy but it's also in sync with Samud's relationship. Kumud was painfully calling out to Saras and Saras felt restless. That's SK for me anyway :)

Didn't we see how much she pleaded with him. She is using 'saraswati' and 'parents' as a last resort so that saras has no other option but to budge.

Like everyone is saying, didn't saras cut his hand to threaten her. He is in a serious situation and she thinks it's not that serious.

But saras didn't have that much impact on kumud because she still continued to tolerate violence from pramad...but saras is not like that.. the moment he sees kumud in pain, he forgets his pain...

here I am inclined to agree with Kusum, the natural reaction would have been to give him space and time, such a reaction on day 9, when she has tried all and not succeeded would have made sense, but it is too premature of her to assume that he has lost all faith.

he is just angry, and reacting in anger, let him be, would be more normal

This fact cannot be ignored that kumud, inspite of being married to pramad, didn't forget saras and his love, though she was angry... but her anger with saras has nothing to do with her tolerating pramad's violence ...if she is angry with saras, then she will continue to get hurt by pramad? as she is not ready to hear saras...? 😕

That is true, it is consistent with Kumud, she doesnt take things lightly and it is in her character to make things right, come what may
