Kumud is the elixir Saras needs.
Yesterday she held him, consoled him, cajoled him. Cried with him. She knew this one instance cannot be let to run over the relationships and bonds. She reminded him beautifully on how he bore the brunt of Pramad's excesses, all for keeping her safe.
Yesterday when Saras went to talk to Danny at her insistence, he was looking at her as if for strength and re-assurance. He was clinging to her words like a ray of hope. And when his pleading did not work he was totally devastated. And grabbed her and started walking away. She could have easily gone with him. Because, all they needed was each other. But, she took a sensible decision. Because, she always believed in giving a chance and trying for things to mend. And she knew the whole background why this was happening.
And when Saras went into his shell, she went right behind him. And told him that she wont let him stay alone. And pestered him about mosquitoes. She knows what works.
Today too, she continued her haq jatana and her zidd. To rally him around. She can sympathize with him but cant empathize because she sees the possibility of a solution and he doesn't. That's why he is hurt that she is not with him.
I loved when she said 'waise tumhe mere peeche chalne ki zaroorat nahin hai'. Beautiful line. In on-location videos there was an extra line - 'waise bhi tum mere peeche kaafi waqt barbaad kar chuke ho'.
Waited for long to see this avatar of Kumud. Who will irritate saras with her zidd. And be behind him like a shadow.
And Jennifer Winget --- You are tailor-made for this kind of Kumud. Who is so sure of herself and is very adamant. Your co-star makes fun of your hindi. But you have that 'dehaati' voice that suits kumud so well. And the sharpness the role needs.

The only reason Jenny is loved inspite of her holidays or any other issues is because no one can replace her as kumud...have you seen today's episode and kumud's sentimental act? 😆 though saras says to himself "no kumud... nothing will get normal" his deep self still believes that kumud will come with a solution to patch things up between himself and Danny ... 😊

Very well said Santhi... "Kumud is the elixir Saras needs"

no matter how strong Saras is but Kumud is his biggest weakness, he's more ghussa on Kumud, as he wanted her to be there for him no matter how wrong or right he is, n he's more heartbroken coz of her abandoning him (thts wt he feels abhi) at tht difficult time, as his today's dialogue..."Tum hii mera akhari sahara thi, aur tum nai mujhey akela chod deya"

Yeah. Saras trusts her so much. But she sees the possibility that does not exist as of now for him. That's why she is not completely with him. And this hurt him. Her trust that saras would come to aarti was so good to see. And how saras reminded himself of her warning and is worried what she would do was so good to see.

Great Analysis of today's Episode ... 👏

I had missed Saturday's Epi , so watched that too ... and thought Saturday was much better than today ...

Frankly , i do not like this Concept of Emotional Blackmail employed by Kumud to get her way always... Is there no other way to placate an Angry Husband ? 😕

and what was that last part ... keeping the Burning Diyaa on her hand as a mark of Faith ...

Such a dumb Cliche borrowed from " Jai Snatoshi MAA " genre of Religious movies of the 1960's and early 1970's ... 😆

Seriously the CVs could not come up with anything better than that as a way of Pacifying the Angry Saras... Soo Annoyingly Ridiculous ...

Twila ji,
We are talking about 'faith'. That concept has a lot of layers and means different things to different people. People make 'promises' as a mark of faith.
If you observe carefully, she warned him earlier that something drastic would happen if he doesn't turn up at the arti. And she doesn't want him to lose faith in God.
And I am all for this kind of zidd. I would not call it 'emotional blackmail' and even if I call it that way, I am ok with it. It just shows how much she trusts him and he trusts her and one's right over the other. A great and time-tested strategy to win people over.
Saras is affected by Kumud's refusal to come and also by her zidd. And I love it.
Ofcourse yesterday's episode was a masterpiece. The way saras looks at kumud multiple times when talking to danny --- it was a super scene. Each look meant something. I made a post yesterday 'When saraswatichandra cried'.

Shanthi ...

Completely agree with you on Faith having differrent meanings for differrent people ... 😊

This type of stuff of placing Burning Diyas on one's hand in front of God's Idol is just not my Cup of Tea

and similarly neither is using Emotional Blackmail such as " If you do not come ... i shall do something drastic... " type of stuff appealing to me ...

My own personal likes and dislikes ... 😊

So i have never liked this mode of Kumud trying to get her own way with Saras ... never liked it earlier too ...during the initial Glorious days ...

Let us see how they proceed ahead with this track ... 😊

@Bold, Completely agree with Twila.
But, fret not, we are the minority, micro-rity, nano-rity on this matter..😛
