He pleaded and pleaded. Words failed him yesterday. Throat choked and did not let him speak.
And he broke down. He made cry today. The way he said how Danny's arrival brought so much happiness into his empty and miserable life. The way he described his relationship and Danny's childhood. Brought a lump in my throat. This was the second time in less than a week that he had to recollect this. Nothing that happened after his mom's death brought more grief.
Kumud reminded him how he bore ton of insults in Pramad's house. And this was his brother. She said that this misunderstanding can't be allowed to take over. He listened.
And went to stop Danny. Keeping his sorrow aside. The same way he kept it aside at the marriage altar for kumud. But kumud was his love. This was much bigger. Folded hands and pleaded. Even stones would melt at that kind of pleading. In a world filled with ego here is a man who just does it effortlessly.
And when Kumud said that she can't join him he was broken even further. Though she was right. Living there reminded him of the failure. At the end of the day he was devastated totally. In every way.
The way kumud kept cool was great to see. Also the way she consoled him. She knows this takes time. But she could have tried to stop danny too. That would have been a beautiful scene.
He has taken many assaults on his self respect. From pramad, kumud, danny and guman. But today he could not take it anymore. And snapped.
Full marks to the makers for a great episode. And for giving us this sad n angry Saras. Very well written.
And thanks to GR. You warned us yesterday in the on location video that Saras would cry. But you made me cry.
