The craziest rumour I've heard about myself is that I was dating three girls at one time - Gautam Rode

The very good looking and sexy Gautam Rode gave sleepless nights to women when he emerged shirtless from a pool in his show Saraswatichandra. And he continues giving a glimpse of his six pack abs every now and then, thus exciting his female viewers.

Here is Gautam, who has one of the fittest bodies in the industry, answering some fun questions at one go for our Quickie section.

What is your comfort food after a hard day's work?

It will be soya milk, muesli and oats. Although it's basically breakfast kind of food, I love having them as snacks in between my shoots too.

Most played songs on your iPod?

The theme song of Mission Impossible and Thousand Miles are played a lot. I also like hearing old songs like Tere ghar ke samne' and other Dev Anand songs and among new songs, fun numbers like Gandi baat' and Saree ke fall se' tops the list.

If you were to get stuck somewhere with no phone or internet, where would it be and with whom?

It would be with someone interesting whom I would like to know better. That way we will also be able to talk and spend our time well. As for the place, I think it should be an exotic location like a beach, hill side or an island.

Live-in or marriage?

Aaah... I haven't thought about it, but between the two, I guess I will go for marriage.

Love is...

Compatibility and all about mutual understanding.

Sex is...

Fun!

Craziest rumour you have heard about yourself?

That I was dating three girls at the same time.

What is best done slowly...eating or kissing?

Kissing.

Every person needs?

Credit cards (laughs).

What is something that you need to stop doing immediately?

To get into an argument with female drivers. They never understand and neither do they accept their fault.

What have you always wanted to do but never done?

Scuba diving. I really want to try that soon.

One word that describes you?

God fearing.

I would like to have an argument with him about the driving bit as I rate myself as a better driver than men, And I need proof about the slow kissing bit so would not mind him as guinea pig, just to confirm of course, No ulterior motive at all.

Same here, KP... About the driving part...😊

The fact is most drivers on Indian roads (male and female) know very little about driving.

I think GR has encountered the sort of women who would bump into his car and then try to claim that it was not their fault- effectively playing "abala naari" - Have known that to happen to some people, and it can irritate even the nicest if it happens to them once too often!

Anyway the argument about men and women drivers is one of those that will continue till the end of Time...😛

Dont know if that's all... out on the road, it's useful for "some women" to play that card... and get away with it...

In a school scene would you get away because you were "abala naari" - I doubt it!!

Yeah, and dont get me started on the Girls suck at Math/Driving/DIY... thing...

Larry Summers...😉

Shouldn't the same be said for "some men" too? To play the "I'm too innocent" card? It's a serious case of confirmation bias, I guess.

Anyway, this is a broad and interesting topic to discuss which unfortunately is beyond the scope of this thread. But I'd love to, if you're up for it over the weekend😊
