First of all, huge hugs and applause to Toni ji for the marvellous, marvellous thread! What a write-up, buddy... ROFL 😆 Plus loved the Frozen' touch!! ❤️
Now, I'm quite tongue-tied when it comes to birthday messages, so please bear with me... This seems a good opportunity as any to both express my gratitude and celebrate a VERY special person, so Carpe Diem! 😳
Arshi ji... Here's to you... who have always provided vocal and silent support... Been there at the times of incalculable joy/enrichment at finding models concieved from scratch worked, when collectively-CB-built theories came to fruition and puzzle-pieces/markers were dropped in place... Anticipation and curiousity to know what went wrong, when it was a rush back to the drawing board cause current premises seemed doubtful. Innocent enjoyment at sarcastic leg-pulling posts... Sporting acceptance of them. Solidarity and comradeship in collective ranting and venting. Impromptu Shayari Mehfil's compelling all us amateurs to pen a few lines buoyed by the infectious enthusiasm and awe-worthy finesse of the resident masters. To you, who read my "essays" appreciated and built upon it, disagreed and drew me out in discussion of finer points. To you, who've given "Ivy" the chance to walk alongside in this journey... Thank you. A mere two words. But contoured by the entire body of my warmest gratitude. As Smrth Bhai would say, Please, take the import'.
I am neither a GRian, nor JWian, nor even a SCian. All I ever saw myself as, was the CB (Chota Baccha) of CB and I was always treated accordingly - generously indulged, considerately guided, wholeheartedly encouraged, warmly praised, and often pulled in line too... What I acutely miss thus, is this feeling of being looked after' - on a virtual thread, of all places! But that is what CB is. There's nothing quite like it. And the people there, the people I call friends (silent or otherwise), GEMS, every frickin' one of them. The memories I leave with shine brilliantly, by virtue of the ones who feature in those fond recollections...
Happy Happy Brithday, Arshi Ji! I wish you a joyous year and a fruitful life ahead. May all your hopes, dreams and aspirations all come true. And may you continue to touch hearts far far away... Make strangers days even brighter with your words and your generosity of spirit. Like you did mine 😳
This is Ivy - designation CBian signing off!!
