Kate: No, everybody loves their mother. Even people who hate their mothers love their mothers. The question is, one man meant for one woman. That is the question.

This kind of sums up the Saras LN equation too.

And to say that she has not faced what Saras has, well maybe not with her own father, but with pramaad she has faced a traumatic relationship, been stuck in a family where she is at the receiving end in a very very and way, and found the courage to forgive and move on, I think that's where she is coming from.

Arshi ji though I am all for LN-saras patch up but no two relations are comparable completely. Kumud suffered in a relation but she was a grown up and could forgive because she knew that was a closure of the relation. She had saras and her entire family to fall back to. Most important fact is it was break free relation.

On the other hand saras and LN relation a father-son relation will stay with saras forever and so does the traumatic experience of his moms suicide (which I think was wrong for saraswati maa to commit suicide in front of her young son the same act in his absence he would have been less miserable). LN is the sole factor in triggering that act but dying in front of your young child is saraswati fault.

Kumud was able to do a patch up pre-marriage era because saras was unaware of his moms real reason of weakness and suicide. That time LN had to show his concern and love for his son. Now it is much more then that its his mom.

So beautifully said, Mena. 👏

It's specially because of @bold that peace between Saras and LN is necessary.

That it's something from which Saras cannot ever walk away. And that an EMA, while a very serious issue, did not have to culminate in suicide.

Even before the ema, it was neglect that Saraswati suffered from, and to an extent LN is culpable, but to accuse him of killing Saraswati - isn't that extreme?

Also, Saras is still looking at LN with all the baggage of his past, much of it clouded by his pain of that single incident.

He will be at peace only when he is at peace with his father! That's all Kumud is trying to do.

Arshi ji @bold: not literally.

@Red: For a child who has seen only his mothers affection and lost that too he will always have a grudge for the person responsible so in a way not an extreme. From Saras point of view he is angry and all the more upset not only because his mom died by drowning herself (it was just death before but now it is trauma that led to suicide) which he knew before too but this knowledge of his moms suffering (which he could not understand as a child then) by the one man who should have been responsible for her happiness is not allowing him to think otherwise. He is still a child left on the bank of pond were his mother died.

It was, was is the operative word Annete

And Saras has to realise that what happened is over, and done with

Because the betrayal happened many many years ago

And it need not have led to the suicide,
