I completely agree that the touches were of reassurance and comfort but I added desire because of how they both reacted to each other's touch. There was that suppressed desire to be caressed. Kumud wanting to put her hand on his face, it's something I felt she wanted to do for a long time. I don't necessarily mean in physical terms because like you said their love comes out so pure and innocent even in the most passionate moments. Also the fact that they had to break out of that moment meant they were being carried away :)

And Kumud carrissing his face for the first time and he closing his eyes to savour that moment not wanting to let gomff Kumud.

He is right no one can tear them apart not Kusum not Parmad jot even Kumud. They are meant to be together, they live and breathe each other.

Cvs we need more scenes like this.

I was melting inside when he pulled her close and told her how he saw her eyes, her hair and her kamarbandh first. That was extremely passionate!!! I've missed him combing her hair like that, it gives me butterflies.

We definitely need more of this!
