So Kusum acknowledged she is in love with Saras. We are not imagining or hoping its poor emoting skills/editing etc? Seriously, not needed at all. I cant believe CVs went down this route.

I got stuck reading that, took a break then read rest of your post !!!!!!

Samud hug - tempted to watch, so tempted. And SD slapping her supatra too!!

If only I can get over the huge stumbling block...

Haven't seen epi yet as usual bcos I want to enjoy it aaram se jab pura jag sojaaye n I can enjoy every single samud moment a million times over!

Kusum either confused hai yah shaani hai! Thinking ek Bhai nahi toh dooja hi sahi and being with Danny means saras 'jija' par dorey daal sakoongi!

Think now Pramaad knows kusum is Kumud's big weakness toh something will happen here which may compel kumud to tell saras to marry her? Cud she ever do that when she knows what she means to saras? Or will it be coming from someone else? Pataa nahin but let's hope cvs make this show abt saras and kumud being united for good n fighting all odds

P.S.sooo excited to see the hug! Need to study abhi but pataa nahi concerntrate Kar paaoongi yah nahi!

Jennifer's dialog delivery and Gautam's facial expressions are flawless almost always...

And when they fight, the 'haq' they emote and their body language makes them look like husband-wife.

So finally watched the epi! N samud moments umpteen times! The hug was perfect! A lot better watching it than reading on update. Saras's hesitation to put his arm around Kumud! Holding her tight so she knows he will always protect her. Kumud surrending herself to him! Grabbing onto his biceps tightly!

I love how after kumud walk out we are seeing her making bold moves towards saras. Be it in words or like today just falling into his arms and it's almost a role reversal on hadd factor. This time it's Saras who is staying within his limits. Not wanting to make any more mistakes to hurt her I suppose.

The hug was par excellence in terms of emotions and expressions by both Gautam and Jenny. Their scenes always come out perfect because both are actors of such high calibre. Both are on the same level and their chemistry really sets screens on fire. They convince you that they are made for each other. I am totally mesmerised by Gautam anyway and so adore Jenny. I thank SLB for such perfect casting (just my opinion guys!)

We all know Saras's love for Kumud but was sooo pleasing to hear Kumud say that she cares abt him more than herself. It wudve been even better if while she broke down she also blurted out how she was worried for him too n if something had happened to him...' But totally love how they argue cos they care abt each other so much and that always leads to them becoming closer to one another.

I can talk abt samud all day n night long! But having to stop myself.

It seems Apart from Pramaad the chapter of Dharamadhekaaris is now closed! Don't think we will see Alak n husband again! n probs not the parents either! Finally SD jaag gayi!

A complete shame about the use of Aanshul's BD. Was sooo obvious too. Aanshul wudve been really good at these scenes and with one or two sarcastic comments but seemed to me that his voice even wasnt his. Just didn't feel I could connect with those scenes due to Aanshul's absence. His expressions didn't match the dialogues just been said nor his reaction to being slapped. Chalo koi nai...samud hug scene diya toh Sab galti maaf!

Kusum...ab kya bolu.

Firstly what was that whole Danny thing abt! Surely cvs didn't just put it in..agar it was abt her being scared then they cudve used kumari to support her but nahin...lagta hai love triangle nahin cvs want to experiment a love hexagon!! Danny will fall for kusum! Kumari will fall for Danny! Kusum has fallen for Saras ,Saras loves Kumud n Kumud loves her family! Arshi, Tera next bytes ka naam 'golmaal bytes' rakh dena!! Lol!!

I feel highly uncomfortable with this kusum situation. The girl who once looked at her sis n saras together n felt overjoyed today felt distraught? Came across like she hated the fact that it's her sister hugging saras n not her.

Shana's prediction may come true abt Kusum getting jealous n try to split samud? Totally 'blinded' by her infatuation for him? And I totally hate how from bhaiyya to jiju to saras to tum n today it was AAP! What next?!

Ugh me totally fuming!!**thinking of Saras's 'agar tumhe kuch hojata..' To calm me down!

How amazing was that and the tear from Kumud's eye when she hears this! Although I wudve loved kumud reciprocating those feelings by saying Aur agar tum he kuch hojata toh?

Overall I totally loved the episode! The most awaited hug was beyond perfect!

Just hope n pray we get to see more of samud n this kusum naam Ki balaa side mein hojaaye! Though not sure what this kusum's rishta will signify? A hurry to get her married n the only eligible bachelor in ratnanagri is Saras kya?! I hpe kumud can put eveything aside n fight for Saras.

P.S. Logic Ki vaat ya blooper?! Kumud walked from ratnanagri to swarnpur kya? Or we are supposed to assume she took the car?!!

Let us see where this week takes us, narrative-wise. Spoilers highlight only the high-points but as last week has demonstrated - what the spoilers conceal, those actually are the turns that reveal a lot about the narrative flow and catch.

Your highly illustrative write-up, especially you positioning 'realisation' as the raison d'etre for today tells me that the epi was built around the core concept or element of 'realizations' and the entire narrative 'unfurled' from that point. It also bespeaks brilliant handling on the storyboard and at 'execution' time.

Let's thus imagine the episode as a 'rosebud' with 'realizations' as the core - and all other story tangents (Saras-Kumud, Kumud-Saras-Kusum, Kumud-Pramad-Saras, a probable Kusum-Danny-Kumari etc) as 'petals'... The rosebud is slowly opening up, and once it does then only will we be able to ascertain if all the petals are a vibrant, rich, strong Red right through, or has 'Black' already crept in dyed the velvet in places with its hue, & curled it around the edges.

So let us all await the day/epi of 'full bloom' friends... =)

Edit: Think of the petals then, as the actions individual characters will make on their respective realisations. That will ensure and determine the strength and 'health' of the petals... And how those actions, executed as a result of today's realisations - will affect the different equations in play, at the level of the larger narrative.
