It wasn't. It was about establishing kusum as meera. And done in a way that was completely unconvincing and silly.

Arshi, Meera and Krishna were not in the same era right? I mean Meera came 1000 odd years after Krishna's death. I don't see kusum doing any sacrifice. What if Kalika gets to her? What if she brainwashes her so this pathetic pining comes with selfishness?

@ Kat, Twila, I do not contribute to TRPs or UK ratings so it really doesn't matter if I watch. I am on CB with my CBians as long as possible. I will continue to hit the CM for rankings, to support Mr Rode as and when I can. However, I can not watch this travesty... or I should take a short break at the very least.

Continuing with my rant - I would have liked for Samud to willingly marry each other and not at the behest of their family. I am not sure if that will ever happen. If Samud marry, it will probably be in the last episode!

Kusum turning Meera to Saras track is sacrilegious. It has tainted Samud love story for me. At this point it doesn't matter if Samud marry each other ever or not or if Saras marries Kalika. I cant bear the thought of watching Kusum pining for Saras. There is no story board. The CVs are winging it anyway they can, characters are not redeemable. There is no hope of any Samud romance either in this touch-me-not subtle' love story. CVs dont want to focus on Danny-Kumari love story either. Sunny is gone. Its getting torturous.

But I lub Arshi and CB so shall be here everyday😃

What was the whole point of connecting " Bhumi Pujan " with the Raas - Leela of Meera ... did not get it yesterday ... did not get it Today ...

If i am not wrong , Bhumi Pujan is done for starting the Construction Work ... so what if a Nautanki is going on in the neighbouring plot of land ...

But anyways... who says that Tele Soaps have to make sense... or that one should look for Logic...

Today i am just Happy for Jenny getting the Award ... and the spurt in the TRPs ... so shall not dwell on anything else ... 😊

Couldn't resist watching...

1) Saras - Danny section was ok...
- Danny had looked up to Saras all his life, so would naturally feel that Saras has kept a very critical section regarding his origins / life from him...
- That's in line with his slightly ditzy / slightly wet behind the ears / younger sibling character...but allowed since he seems to be coming around.
- Good save by Kumud with Saras & Kusum / Kumari with him.

- Expect a scene between the bros tomo.

2) Bhoomi poojan section ...Don't know why people don't like it?
This was the best part of the epi...rollicking...

- Like the scene when you have women fighting with men trying to get the ticket...Yup... That's Nayi Soch...Why should men have all the fun?...and who knows if they are lucky they get to see a Full Monty too...😎

- Then the switcheroo...fab scene that...the women turn around...see our dikra shirtless...and 3 of them just make a run for the Desai part of the entertainment...Then Kumud saying welcome and all three kakis with eyes on Dikra saying Yeah Yeah...Theek hai...Then actually complaining on the noise nearby..saying we can't enjoy in all this noise!! ...Oh the distraction!!! ...😉

- The best scene was when poor old Dad is finally getting a chance to 'enjoy'...when his Little Miss Muppet and Little Lord Faunterloy catch him and say "Daddy Daddy...I wanna be a doctor and cure people... And you are going to 'enjoy'...Boo Hoo"..

...And the look on poor old Dad...who's thinking "Bloody fellows used to spend all their time till now wrestling with pigs and eating all the food..and now suddenly want to be doctors!!"...What about me who wants to imagine too that he's playing Doctor Doctor in the nautanki!!😕...

3) Missed the logic of why people had to attend the bhoomi poojan? Their bet was bhoomi poojan will not happen...so what have people attending got to do with it?

Only way this has been put in is for the Kusum - Saras angle to be played out through Meera - Krishna role-play.

4) GR totally misfit and looking / feeling very conscious as Krishna...pity the poor guy...

5) Kusum as Meera...
This raises fundamental questions...

- Can you control your falling in love with someone?

- Both have been together fighting on the same side for Kumud...who till the fire incident was deliberately and consciously looking over towards Pramad...Kumud was so engrossed that she never saw the pain, torture & effort Saras had made to protect her...

So being a first hand witness to such a noble person's actions and then fighting alongside him... would the sustained exchanges & interactions first manifest in respect, then awe...leading to love...maybe?

- Is this love or devotion?

- What if it does happen despite your conscious desire & rational wish to not happen? Then what do you do?

- So in a sense Kusum realizes that this is forbidden...but Dil To Baccha Hai Ji...

- Therefore when she consciously stamps out this desire and voluntarily takes upon herself the persona of Meera rather than Radha or Rukmini...is she more noble than Kumud?

- Kumud gave her heart to Saras...could not give her heart to Pramad (but had Saras stamping out his desire in that phase) ...and Pramad being what he is...is back with Saras...so she has always had the best of both worlds which aligned to her preference...That's easy weasy ...

- But to love someone, realise its not workable and then stamp it out voluntarily..that's hard.

- So I am beginning to think about this angle...is she really that bad? People might say you can't fall in love with your jijaji ...But wasn't it implied during the BD phase that jijaji is off the table...And the core point being, despite all that knowledge..what if you do fall in love?

- Meerabai loved Krishna...but was a devotee than a lover. ... so as long as Kusum follows those guidelines I am ok...falling in love with the idea of saras and what he stands for...

- Adding my favorite bhajan by Lata from Ram Teri Ganga Maili to better clarifiy what I hope this turns out...

The comparisions between Meera and Radha are totally wrong in my opinion. There can be comparision between Radha n Rukmini but Meera and Radha?

Meera was a devotee. From a different era. Radha is considered to be the feminine principle(prakriti) uniting with Purusha.

This comparision gets on my nerves.

BTW: I respect Meera and love her bhajans.
