Hiya, Shrija! Well you're right. Not today only, per se. This was harped on for long. But from Saras' pov, in his vulnerable, desolate state, this callousness today would have hurt more. Remember the 'break' we're anticipating... Scene is slowly being set. Kumud will side with a phony ingratiating Pramad over a genuine sincere Saras anyday. Because it means a win for her. That is what that Shraadh accomplished for her too... Another step closer to her win. The destructive aspects of Kumud's personality is being highlighted and amplified. Her 'selfishness', her 'Veni Vidi Vici' mentality, the fact that she can be selectively ruthless, esp with Saras. This is all being done in service of the greatest fall for Kumud.

That being said, of course, I haven't watched epi, so I may be wrong. Outta curiosity, what was your 'take-away' today? 😳

S is still steadfast in his mission to help his eternal love which the freeloader K doesn't wish to reciprocate. That was evident from today's episode. Like OSJ said, she literally refused to understand a visibly shaken Saras and started ranting about Pramad. She comes off as an amnesiac who needs immediate medical attention. 😉

Your deconstruction of the promo is slowly materializing and will reach its full form by this weekend if spoilers are to be believed😛

Jaanu ji I love this post... aapka harr post achaa hai, but this one really described what I feel. It's so amazing how Kumud itni jald hi Saras ko bhulaa gaayi.

I always thought it was the heat stroke from the fire or something that made her faint yesterday. She had no problem with jalaa-ing Saras' things the first time she did his aantam-sanskaar. Toh kal usse khujali kyun hui??? 😳 😳

And today, all of a sudden she's sharmaaying because Prammy spilled some blood for her... If Prammy is abusive, she is manipulative & selfish to the core... She made him bleed for her as well.

All I got out of today's episode is that it takes literally BLOOD, sweat and tears to satisfy this woman... To me that is absolutely disgusting, especially after the way she totally forgot about the fact that she killed Saras, left him to wither alone yet again, and started tapkuing behind trees in her newly-bloody romance with Prammi.

There is nothing good about her character anymore. And I'm glad Chulbul is here because compared to Kumi, he is Bholenaath... Jisne bhi Kumi kaa saath diya with the excuse that she is a woman and degraded for being one... abh bajaao "feminism" ka dhol. I saw her controlling everyone, including God, as Jaanu ji sweetie ji said today. She's got everything on a silver platter for her.

edit: this is not a love story. Whoever says so is terribly mistaken, I think. Because today's episode proved to me how Kumud would willingly dump Saras in a ditch if Prammy was on the line... That's not love. It's the complete opposite.

Regarding your @Bold: That just highlights the difference between Saras and Kumud doesn't it? I would say, today asked one to 'take a side'... At this point, the audience has a god's eye view and is aware of all facets of story... Characters aren't. And the last one to know the full truth will be Kumud. By then, she will have irrevocably damaged her cause.

Bold: Well, something to look forward to! 😉 I'll come back to show, the day Saras walks out of BD house and leaves Kumud to her 'choice.' Tab toote gi asli pahad Kumud pe... @Bold italics: Agree. If you were to discount the promo and the spoilers, any viewer would believe that P is actually trying to reform, wouldn't s/he? P may have his sinister plans through his clandestine meeting with his mistress but as long as it is not explicitly shown to the viewer, they'll also be at a moral dilemma like Kumud, am I right? So all this strategical leaking of future story line is to suggest to the viewers that they stick with the protagonist all the time? So the notion behind 'take a side' is to glorify the main protagonist and in the process the subordinate protagonist(Kumud)'s characterization gets mauled. Sorry this sounds so dumb ; enlighten me please =)

Shrija... 'Take a side' is a 'see-saw' theory of audience and characters that we came up in CB a while ago. Let me hunt down the CB in question then PM you a link, later =)

Here, I would like to make a point - Saras has never been glorified. Kumud has been, at the expense of Saras. And the blatant glorification that is on-going is of Pramad. The average TVT viewer won't take Saras' side... The strategic leaking is only to whet appetities for the 'high-voltage drama' yet-to-come. And in Kumud's missteps, the TVT segment envision a gleeful sense of satisfaction. She lends them intelligence-by-proxy. If Kumud's characterization has been mauled, she has been propped up too... The only character whose essence is still in some ways intact, is Saras. And to show whatever good, pure and kind that is left in the show, CV's will have to go back to Saras 😊

e kumud ka kya hoga ... i thought she will mourn at least for 3 days but dekho she came to clear shradh flowers why she was fainted after doing shradh if she can get over from it quickly ..even before saras and if even she can able to come there to talk about Mr.Alcohol and his fathers hug . oh i guess she not eat before that day as she is now flying on sky as her Mr.Alcohol now sudra hua caring husband who can write sorry with blood 🤪 Mrs.Alcohol even wore Bengal shyly 🤣...ewww Mrs.alcohol has succeed on her mission ...👎🏼 director ji even used a BG music for Mr and Mrs. Alcohol 😆 director ji now use dil kyun e mera shor kore for them 😆 will be perfect circus 😃
