Hello poison ivy😆
You know I was reading your lamba post in the car and your post jhatkas added to the jhatkas of the pot holes of Delhi.
I was wondering whether it will be right to post my actual reactions to your post, then I read your reply to happychappy, and laga ki aap ne woh keh diya khud hi!
Your post and Veeras post - two awesome lyrical poetic beautiful writers making posts that are so bitterly critical of the show!
I am sure that's not what you want to write day after day, the last few days you were silent and so was Veera for an even longer time.
When Even the best among us have nothing good to write, if we lose all hope of that ever happening, we need to end it.
We shouldn't meet here everyday just to find all bad. Net = good - bad must always be positive.
None of us here would like to saubhagya Devi and just write sweet sugar coated stuff that's all balderdash.
If anyone still wonders why CB has to end, the answer is here my friends.
Ahh... Jaate, jaate, phir se mera naam-karan ho gaya! 😆
Arshi, just for the record, you can always be unchecked and uncensored with me, because you can expect nothing less from my side either 😳
I went back over a few of my previous posts you know, read back through entire CB's of the glory days of SC at work today, because I did not want to post till I got home. Then I watched some Gopi Vahu kitchen politics and re-watched the last three SC episodes... I came with my pen bitterly poised as you can see... And let loose. Because CB demands honesty and I felt I owed everyone here that. I can now leave the show, and this CB with a conscience clean =)
I respect your decision to end CB. Frankly, I am more in my element when I am handing out *standing-frickin'-ovations* and doing trial and errors with building blocks trying to make a character identik. You're right, it hurts me and all of us here, to take a baseball bat and do a Carrie Underwood to SC, but in our defense SC is asking for it. There comes a time when even the most beloved and enduring of habit loses its appeal and you don't care anymore... You just want out. I think most of us have reached that point with SC. We may occasionally watch, but on popcorn mode, never even expecting any aspect to make sense, let alone expecting a cognitive workout. You're absolutely right, the time for serious discussions is over. SC has lost that merit, that literary value, and with it, for me, it's sheer incredible appeal.
It's a relief to finally put the poison pen away... and walk out with dear attachments made and a crucial lesson learnt 😊
