I didn't get why she came to his room with the first aid box? if she thought that he was making it difficult for Kumud to move on, coz she was feeling guilty n shedding tears for him in the previous scene, then she could have done just that and left... why sit next to him on his bed and then attend to his ''lip injury'' ...even Kumud had asked before she put ointment on his back after the fight ..
