SC under scanner-20th Aug- Times of India

I just came across this article dated 20th Aug 2013 at Times of India website . Difficult to ignore because it showed up at a site of a reputed news organization.

Please find below information relevant to our show Saraswatichandra. I only hope some kind of magic happens. We all want this show, a show we all so dearly Luv & Hate (current track) at the same time.

Launch date: February, 25 2013
Promotional gimmick: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's telly offering adapted from the eponymous novel Saraswatichandra and depicted in quite a contemporary way. Teasers and promotional activities that launched the show as the romantic epilogue offering more telly spice to the audience.
Great expectations: The subtleties and the layers in different characters were certainly what the launch promised. Not to mention the screen chemistry between the lead couple played by Gautam Rode and Jennifer Winget.
Telly takes: The script is finding it difficult to garner the much required TVTs. The much hyped keep-a-distance romance between Saras and Kumud seemed to have done little to the show.

I can understand, we want it to be a rumor.
However, it is hard to ignore an article published by Times of India, that has some reputation.

If KJo getting in is true, then we can expect anything.
Recollect he was the producer of the movie, Kabhi Alvida na Kehna, a movie that explored extra marital affairs.

Such a beautiful serial turning into a farce due to the TRP requirements, can't they do without it? What is so great about this TRP thing? Can't people enjoy a serial just for the sake of its story and beauty of the play. If these rumours continue it will be the end of the show, as StarPlus does not look like a channel with philanthropic qualities more like here to do business and that's it.
