I think kalika got scared because she knew that if kumud brings it to BD's notice then it will be all over for her. So that's why all the crying and I'm innocent act.

my guess is...she finally realises the consequences of her and pramad's affair out in the open. she gave her sob story of her father being employed in budhidhan household for many years and will loose his job..

so now shes moving like a mouse instead of a tiger as before..lol
