Gautam Rode who is seen as the simple and shy Saras in Sararwatichandra on Star Plus in candid chat with TellyBuzz reveals his true personality, his real nature and attributes of being Gautam Rode.

Talking about what kind of a person he is Gautam says, "I am very busy shooting so I don't get time to go out nor have I planned any vacation since long as such! I remember when I wasn't shooting last year I would go on long drives out of Mumbai. Nowadays when I get time I watch lots and lots of movies as well as do my workouts."

When asked him about his role as Saras and his off screen personality he said, "Honestly, even though I am not a party person I am not very shy and reserved like Saras is. I am more of an extrovert and make friends very easily. I don't socialize much and party with only my buddies."

Girls are swooning over Gautam and like his rugged looks. In Saraswati his love Kumud has just got married to another guy. We ask Gautam about his relationship status in real life and he says, "Talking about my take on relationships honestly, I am not so much of a romantic person. I can never woo a girl... I will first consider her as my friend and will treat her as my soul mate. I just can't keep on saying a girl I LOVE YOU just like that. However, I am trying to change my attitude as well... I wish I can talk to girls in that manner. I still don't run behind them and the reason why I am single is I usually try and keep my relations on a professional level with my co-actors. Moreover, I am not the one who will publicize myself just to get hooked. I feel that when the time comes God will send a partner for me"

He further went on add, "I am a practical lover and I only get attached when I love some one... else I am very balanced. I want to change this in me as its difficult for me to go away from someone whom I am close to. As of now I am not looking for marriage as I think whenever the time is right it will happen."
