Yeh I think Slb direction has a lot to do with it. Any of you familiar with his films will know that the actresses he employs have this common tendency( exempting manisha koirala in khamoshi, perhaps as it had something to do with the silentness, or her as good actress or both) of making loud their emotions, notwithstanding his actors. It by no means certifies the actor/actress as good. Slb is inclined towards overindulging in excessive display of emotion. His stretching out of emotions gets frustratingly tiresome to watch not to mention rather contrived sometimes. I do see how this heavy-duty stuff works as a fundamental part of storytelling but I don't dig the acting.

I agree.. the actions of the character or the script were not at fault.. I sort of expected such a huge reaction from the character Kumud.. BUT the way jenny was enacting it was flawed!

Firstly, what she does it directed by not her but someone else. 😊

and secondly, I think this is how a girl with broken dreams should react! Her marriage was cancelled just before her wedding day! 😔

well i dont think she was overacting...infact iv seen her in DMGand she was good there too, but i think she has improved alot wid her crying scenes..she's become much much better now...she is an Amazing actress

and the state in which Kumud was...that crying was totally justified

again don't mix up the way the character was reacting with the way jenny was portraying her! yes, kumuds reaction was supposed to be shocked, disappointed, angry and heartbroken BUT jenny didn't portray those emotions well!
I am talking about the actress and not the character!

I disagree completely. She was brilliant & there was nothing OTT . Infact she's giving her best performance in this show. My respect for her as an actress is growing more day by day.

I think the TM is generalizing for the episodes till now not only few episodes!!! and I agree with the TM i find her she use too much her neck part for anything seem like she is expressing from her neck then face and she does overact but last episode she did an amazing job!!! anyways This show i have no idea where it is going!!!

Not at all. She was awesome. She made me cry along with her. Best performance given by her.
