Really? The show will go the ''Hum dil de chuke sanam'' way? NO!!!!! Why? well here are my reasons to believe what I believe :
1. Hum dil de chuke sanam, contrary to what it may seem to many, is NOT Nandini and Sameer's love story.. No it isn't! It is Nandini and Vanraj's love story.. Hum dil de chuke sanam, the line from the title track ( absolutely love it <3) is addressed to Vanraj , her husband not Sameer, her ex-lover.. If you guys remember the scene when the song plays, you will know what I mean.. she fell in love with her husband, not out of any pressure but out of pure affection and respect that grew as she got to know the gem of a man he was.. Here, the scenario is different.. Saraswatichandra is Saras and Kumud's love story, be it the book or the movie, that fact remains.. it is NOT Kumud and Pramad's love story.. So no ''Hum dil de chuke Sanam'' This is not me being blindly positive but this is what the book, movie ..and even Gautam Rode says..!! đ
2. Pramad's character in the book is negative.. why would they make a 360 degree turn there? that will turn the plot on its head.. There have been no flashbacks of Saraswati and Dukhba's backstory..their ordeals in the show so far..and both plots have been very prominent, almost parallel to Saras and Kumd's track.. maybe coz Kumud will unfortunately have to go through all that and worse..silver lining here is that she will have Saras..
2. The oaths, promises, virtual marriage complete with mehendi, haldi and consummation and now karwa chauth has been shown for a reason.. the commitment and stakes are much higher than what Nandini and Sameer had, in the movie.. Even the book or movie based on the book didn't have consummation scene...
So I will take a chill pill and let the drama unfold.. The new entry is gonna be exciting.. some great performances have been assured, if the script and direction remain as crisp as they were in last couple of episodes... lets not worry about the end yet..the journey looks hell exciting!
