SC fans, Gautam fans Jenny fans

SC is the first serial that got me interested in a number of years and I have watched all the episodes since day 1. I loved it so much that I recommended it to my friends and family and whoever I could, and they all thanked me. Unfortunately, I see the interest is fading for some reason or the other and I really want to make sure it does not happen . I want the show to do really well, since we all had a lot of expectations from a SLB show and its wonderful cast. It is a nice romantic show apart from the regular stuff around.

Let me give my thoughts from what I have gathered from others around me since none of them are really keen to go online and talk about it. However, I really want SC to do well

1. Vidya chatur- there are lot of people missing him and the wonderful father- daughter bond that Vidya Chatur and Kumud shared. With Yatin leaving the show that part of the father-daughter story has gone missing. The current Vidya Chatur may be a nice actor but even after a couple of episodes the absence of Yatin as Kumud' s father is being felt. Yatin also acted well with Dukhba and the brother sister bond looked real on screen. How can I forget Yatin's bond with his singer brother. Finally Guniyal and Yatin were a perfect wonderful couple as Kumuds's parents on screen. I am sure a lot of thought was put into getting Yatin to the show, and the makers were not wrong. So we are all surprised and a bit upset with the change. I think the absence of Yatin has affected a lot of parallel stories and characters. In the future if there will be skype conversations i wonder if the current VC will be able to nail them. I see people talking about their concern in this regard, however the makers of SC do not care.

2. Grandfather has gone missing for quite sometime, he could not be spotted at the engagement ceremony.

3. Kusum and Sunny are talented however, they are there to give a good smile and may be 1-2 dialogues. Kusum and Sunny can be put together. You can show them making some plans for saras and kumud and slowly getting involved.

4. Too much of Guman, it annoys a lot of them. Sometimes you wonder if you are watching Kumud aur Saras ki Dastan or Guman ki Dastan. With Guman showing up at all the places, it is a bit irritating. Sometimes you just want to watch a few shots peacefully and enjoy them.

5. Compared to before, Dukhba and Kumari are also getting more screen space. Sometimes you can show Dukhba is good to her daughter and not always shouting at her. I do not think there is any Mom in this world who will not express her love to her daughter. I hope those annoying and cheesy meetings between Kumari and Umesh are over.

6. Instead of so much of Dukhba and Kumari, you can sometimes show Kumud's Chacha Chachi.

7. Gautam, what can I say we all love and adore him. He has performed wonderfully and exhibited all range of emotions on this show. Really talented and a well hidden treasure,so far. Gautam is doing his best to make the show a real hit. We can never doubt his dedication towards the show. He gives so many small interviews and is active on twitter. He has added tons of fans to twitter so quickly. We wish him all the luck. We all know SC means a lot to him, he has really waited for such a dream role and give his all to make it a popular show. Unfortunately, after the PMS fiasco he seems a bit withdrawn in his chemistry with Jenny. Looks like jenny's clause is being put into effect.

Recently, they have never had some cute shots between Saras and Kumud, like the ones they have shown when they were falling In love. Now Saras and Kumud are in love but it does not come across on screen. Some of you will not agree with me and say that they just won the best couple award. However, this award was for their chemistry so far and this chemistry was good. Earlier, most of the times they had arguments, fights and some pyar and it all worked well. Jenny must have found it easier to get upset and angry at saras. However, now when there are no fights and arguments and love is in the air one can hardly feel it on screen.

I think jenny should be more professional in her dealing with gautam , recent SPA fiasco. you hardly get to see their interviews together. I think the offscreen chemistry interviews are really good for viewers and the show. I would have liked if they promoted the show together. Also KSG should stop imparting any negativity towards SC. These days it's all about promotion, best eg. is movie promotion. Currently, I admire how the recently married vidya balan is promoting her movie along with Emraan Hashmi. What needs to be done has to be done.

An evil part of my mind thinks if it is a KSG plan that's working against SC. He was unable to get saraswatichandra, however he allowed Jenny to be a part if it inspite of knowing that it is a romantic story. This would let him know the inside details about how the story is progressing at SC. Instil in her this crazy behavior, give these weird interviews, show possessive husband and wife behavior, ignite these controversies and ruin the show. If the makers are really upset Jenny will either leave or asked to leave. Definitely Jenny's fans will be upset and affect SC. What if she joins Qubool hai? Finally, Qubool hai wins and and Gautam inspite of all his hard work is not able to take it to the top.

I am wondering if Gautam hears all these crazy stories about KSG and Jenny and her clauses, he is bound to be withdrawn and feel uncomfortable with romantic shots. Agreed Jenny is professional and does not have time for offscreen chemistry and interviews etc. but that is really important, I heard she just gives her shot and goes back to her room. Beleive me such a behavior will really affect her slowly, in life it is important to be social. If you are going to spend a major part of your day with colleagues you might as well spend it with warmth and some good friendly time rather than being withdrawn. Jenny always says that she and KSG are professional and they have been in the industry and know how it works. However, her actions and behavior are not professional, we get to see it. She is more interested in promoting KSG instead of SC.

Under such circumstances if the makers are able to find a new wonderful Kumud, it will be great. I am pretty sure such an idea may already be in progress. Finally the wonderful show must go on and in case people with selfish attitudes are a part of it they should be kept away.

I agree with this post very much,especially the highlighted part.It is very obviously seen that the chemistry is drying out.Whatever the reason , it should be sorted out, otherwise the show will probably limit itself and SLB won't be able to create his signature masterpiece with it.

Thank you for agreeing with my post, am glad that many of those who have read have responded well. To many of my friends a change in their chemistry has been so evident. Their farewell shots at the karkhana, before Saras left for Dubai, was just not upto the mark. Not even a hug to someone you love, come on. Well they are engaged now, she is his fianc and they have gone through this so called PMS. Inspite, of all this they have an untold distance between them. I am not saying that they have to have intimate scenes ( they did not have intimate scenes before the PMS episode). That magic seems to missing. As you say, hope they are able to sort it out soon.

I agree it is not the absence of intimate scenes that we are complaining about, but it is the absence of comfort level and chemistry which any couple in love will have. Like the scenes from the Saras gouh hatya prayaschit episodes were so much more emotional without much hype of intimacy.

Another point is that it feels unforgettably unconvincing how Saras and Kumud get into the mode of crossing the lines. I mean you don't see those kind of emotions expressed by either one of them before or even after that night.

The PMS night has totally thrown off the equation of their relationship. The things following after PMS night look confusing too. It is like the director/scriptwriter is confused and doesn't know what kind of couple to make out of SC and Kumud. Whatever the reasons, this track/ phase is not flowing with ease or naturality.

If it due to KSG, then he needs to get the message .QH has intimate scenes and he does not seem to be uncomfortable doing them with his lead, and so should Jennifer.

Firstly, the actor playing VC gets replaced?! I'm truly shattered to hear that. Yatin Karyekar OWNS that role! He brings a childlike enthusiasm into the show and in the character... And he has near-perfect equations with Kumud, Guniyal, Gyan & Dugba. Not to mention Saras! Love how he cannot resist teasing his future SIL about Kumud... Not to undermine the actor replacing him, cause I haven't even watched his acting, but on its own this is a huge, huge loss to Team SC =(

Sunny and Kusum both have heaps of potential in terms of their storyline... And also because the two actors simply shine in whatever two-seconds they get on the screen. BUT, you may have to wonder if bigger things are planned for Kusum later on, as per the novel. In that case, I would at least expect Sunny to be utilised fully now, or does he factor in later storylines for Kusum also? Whatever the case I hope CV's don't drag things to a breaking point leading to Shiny and Anirudh walking out in search of greener pastures. They would certainly be justified to, because it seems they are still being treated like less than mere sidekicks. CV's oughta get their act together on this!

Regarding Guman, she is the resident vamp right? Indian television serials seem to be extremely smitten with such characters, but often they tend to be stereotypical roles hashed to death before. I hope the CV's think out of the Evil Stepmother/Dayaan Saas box for this one. The quality of the storyline must justify the character space, otherwise it just becomes filler and lowers the overall standard of the entire show, and I remember Monica talking about how her role was not that of the typical vamp on telly. From what little I have seen, Guman certainly appears to be heading that way.

Also, I personally don't understand Dugba's unchecked indulgence of Kumud and her at-times absolute shunning of Kumari. This may be setting the stage for some later storylines I don't know but yes, I agree, a little balance will not go unappreciated. Especially since Dugba is to all intents and purposes the "Mother" of the show.

I really like Gautam Rode. As an actor he is phenomenal with his emotions. He NAILS angry Saras with all his unresolved issues! As a person, he is a total ball of contagious energy guaranteed to bring a smile on your face. I also like the way he dealt with the PMS issue and Jennifer's uncomfortability with it when asked in interviews. He gave no one any ammunition to fire at either himself, KSG or Jennifer. After that the media simply left him alone because they realized this guy is not going to give them anything. He gets big brownie points for that, from me. I'm not a fan of his by any rate, but if I have to, I will defend this guy, because he has definitely earned my respect with his sensible and dignified conduct.

Regarding "the-first-married-and-in-love-couple-on-Earth" because they certainly talk and act that way, Grover needs to stop talking SC, period. Even if he makes a joke about SC, it will be taken the wrong way because he has earned far too much resentment from SC fans to ever be even afforded the benefit of the doubt. So he better think twice about undermining Saras and calling his wife, "the hero" of the show again because SC fans will be out for blood. When you don't like a person or have issues with them touching your wife, then your words regarding him or his character are not a joke. They are an insult and they will be reacted to as such.

I have to say this, Jennifer Winget is a VERY beautiful girl. I think I've fallen in love with her smile after seeing that photoshoot video. She was so childlike and unrestrained in that segment. And she is an awesome actress, no doubt. Her eyes speak volumes, especially of hurt and pain. But when it comes Jennifer Singh Grover, I don't particularly like her. She behaves as though there's a two-tonne chip on her shoulder, acts like a broken record stuck on KSG, KSG, KSG and stumbles indignantly over her own statements. If I was malicious in regard to her, I would be thoroughly entertained at her disintegration but since I am not, I am just left very very sad for her. I really want to like her. I wish I had known this actress before marriage because it seems that being in wedlock has sucked the life, fun, friendliness, and the individuality out of her... Like she herself said, she cannot make a decision without the hubby. A huge shame, that is. So much potential, so wilfully wasted.

So sorry, my friend, there is no evil plan. Just a person whose priorities have definitely changed and that is the former Jennifer Winget. She is Jennifer Singh Grover now and she cannot help but bring that up everywhere. Reading her "I prefer simple clothes" interview, it also seems like she still harbours a desire to work with husband again. If I remember correctly, at SC launch, she even said something to the effect of how she would have loved if he was a part of SC. Even from the start, the warning signs were already there.

Lastly, it is really sad how Mr. Mrs. Grover have themselves put a red target on their marriage. I am astonished at how much I know about this couple's marital life and I know it solely because they have broadcasted it to the entire world. They have as good as issued an open invitiation to people to assume the Everest about their marital equation. It's just TMI everytime they say something. And then Jennifer comes out guns blazing defending Grover, her marriage, not even realising that it is her credibility as a professional artist that is on the line. All she does in her interviews is contradict her own statements and that is truly disheartening to watch. She could be so much more. Conquer hearts and prejudices simply by being Jennifer Winget of that cute antics and heart-meltingly beautiful smile, but guess SC viewers are destined to contend with Mrs. Grover only.
