There is no PMS or any intense romance in the novel or the movie. They have written and shown a subtle romance between Saras and Kumud Sundari in novel and the movie respectively.

While the show is SLB's modern version.

That's the problem, after the deed what more is left? This is called lust, not love!

If they are in love with each other means they would have stayed within the limits, but they have done the deed out of lust 🤔

The show has lost it's charm now
