Ahh Vaish! Your post is as amazing as the episode especially the proposal scene.

You know why this was the most romantic proposal I've seen in a serial? For someone like me who has always said that my future husband has to get on with my family and respect my parents like his own (a simple wish that most girls have), there could be no other way to beat what Saras did today. He won her over thousand times more by going through her parents first. What a heartfelt confession! It was the first time he said he loves her but at the same time he seeked her parents permission too.

This may sound awkward but after watching todays episode...no wonder she gives in 🤣

He really gave her a kissa to cherish for her life, regardless of what fate decides for them..didn't he? Mein Kumud se shuru aur Kumud pe hi khatam hona chahta hoon..what a bold declaration of love and that too infront of the entire family. His life indeed in a true sense started with meeting this girl Kumud ...she walked into his life against his will and made an impact that was unshakeable..she touched his heart..she touched his soul, literally held him by his lil' finger and helped him walk out of the darkness into light...into life...!!

Today he will go to any extent to hold that hand that held him in his dark and despair times.. he will do what she wants..whatever makes her happy, makes him happy.. She wanted him to propose her.. assure her of his love not in private but infront of the whole world..she thought she deserved that much..was she wrong in demanding? I think not... he was being a perfect lover..romantic, caring, patient, pampering even jealous but was still a step away from being the complete lover.. the proposal...!! she demanded and today he obliged.. just the way she wanted..his proposal was pure heart and soul.. In those 5 minutes, he seemed to have summed up his life, opened up every page of his once closed book of a heart..he came out clean today..the reason for his rejection was never Kumud.. he addressed his father when explaining the reason for his disapproval of the proposal and Vidya Chatur when explaining the reason for writing the letter..very well thought..

I wrote several posts expressing my views about the reason Saras came to Ratnagiri after the video conferencing with Kumud, but couldn't express it the way he himself did today.. '' Mera dil, us ehsaas ki shakal dhund raha tha'' ( take a bow dialogue writers👏) How aptly he put it.. ! ..aur jab Kumud ko dekha tau yahan se jana mere liye aur mushkil ho gya... *sigh* the hopelessness of love and the vulnerability of it ..hear hear Kumud.. he never could leave..even without you hesitating to stop him.. *she smiled*

His acknowledgement and gesture of seeking blessing from Dukhba, taking her hands in his and assuring her that now he has started listening to his heart, the way she always told him, was such a poignant moment.. It felt like he is paying guru dakshina.. an ode to his teacher who guided him all along.. what dialogues from thereon..simply stupendous..!!!

* mein ek bhi pal akela nahi rehna chahta * - says the guy who wanted to stay alone, aloof, unattached his entire life..I remember the time when he was angry with Kumud and told her that this is how he has learnt to live his life- alone and unattached.. she will learn too.. but as fate would have it, she succeeded in teaching him just the opposite :)

* mein apne har ehsaas ko poora karna chahta hun..har jazbaat, har sukh dukh ko Kumud ke sath jodna chahta hun - says someone who never thought relationships could be complete and fulfilling..

* mein jeena chahta hoon, Kumud ke sath jeena chahta hun..Kumud ke sath shuru aur Kumud ke sath khatam hona chahta hoon- no girl can have her feet on the ground after hearing this.. he is hopelessly and irrevocably in love with her.

This indeed was one of the best proposal I have seen.. memorable in every way..Kumud is the happiest girl in the world.. her dream was brought to reality by the man of her dreams himself.. he is no longer an elusive dream..close yet beyond reach.. not any longer..the picture is complete and perfect..she can now clearly see through those eyes, into his heart and his soul that he bared out for her infront of everyone..just the way she wanted..he is hers forever..I know it will take more than a Dukhba to protect their love from the evil eyes, but I still hope they unite in body and soul before the inevitable happens..

At long last, Mr. Seeker has completed his long initiated mission since that first 'haldi' at well. ( Mr. Dobo, she already had...much before you!😆). Then, in one of the first sentences to her, awkwardly, but visibly shaken, he had asked her, " had I hurt you?" The answer was 'rubbed' in pain. Today he sought to complete the 'heal' and honour that he owed her...👏

@ bold- I can totally understand that Reema.. Going down on the knees, with bouquet of flowers in hand and saying ''I love you'' is nothing compared to declaring love and promising an eternity of happiness for the girl to the her parents.. VC's dialogue that I trust you more than I trusted you before sums up the impact of his effort on the family.. he won their trust and the love of the girl , all at the same time.. made his father so proud too, right?

About the giving in part, I know what you mean lol Can't blame her now..😆

whatever happens, ''Kumud se shuru aur Kumud pe khatam'' will not change.. Like I said in Arshi's post, it sounded bold and ominous, but promises eternity..I will hold on to that.

Much as initial loyalty tugs us towards original cast, this new VC's (the actor) poise in receiving the supplicant was dignified and adequate... VC, by even his noble act, ought to have been equal to LN. Today he was looking so.
