Also I thought Guman's accusation , Saras defending Kumud and then asking her hand for marriage from VC will happen before that incident.. But you are right, Kumud has always stood upto Guman so she can't get that upset for a false accusation..

That is kind of confusing! I came up with this possibility because I can not seem to understand why on earth she would cry like that for any other reason. I don't think her and Saras's relationship is that underdeveloped that she would listen to Guman and believe that Saras does not love her when in fact she knows he is trying to propose marriage to her. I mean he made it evident way too many times that he is in this relationship to marry her so why Kumud would listen to Guman is beyond me.

I felt like she was reacting that way because she slept with Saras. I mean that makes the most amount of sense to me. Why would she go all hysterical for something Guman said and if she does go that hysterical for something someone said then it is going to be a little hard to take in because wow there is no need to do react like that if someone spread lies about you.

Only thing I can think of us, Saras asks Vidya for Kumud's hand and then they sleep with one another and then Kumud realizes "what a grave mistake she had made sleeping with the man she loves before getting married" and then goes to her mother and cries about it.
