Wonderful as usual Arshi :) they say beauty lies in simplicity... its the simplicity of their emotions and the depth of it that tugs at my heart... Simple words, subtle expressions, nothing over dramatic yet it has such a REAL feel to it.. Saras is just like his name.. simple and honest.. he still fumbles for words, still hesitates to touch her, talk to her.. the awkwardness they have ''onscreen'' is ironically the part I enjoy the most.. His goofy expressions , completely clueless of how to act around a girl, specially when he wants to make her feel special was brilliantly done.. So I wasn't surprised when he scared the poor girl when attempting to cover her eyes the first time.. LOL There is a Saras who commands her to leave in public, stamping his authority and right on her and there is also a Saras who ushers her to lead him with a ''please'' like a thorough gentleman.. I love both of them and its hard to choose my preference sometimes.. Like I said before, beauty lies in simplicity.. How beautiful and heartfelt did his birthday wish to Kumud sound? With a bunch of roses in one hand and pretty kandeel in another? Very creative and thoughtful of the makers to have come up with this idea.. She brought light in his darkness and he gave her one from his side.. He was as unassuming when he unofficially asked her if they could be on the journey together .. again so much said with so less spoken!
Last scene was stupendous performance by Gautam. The way he commanded her to go back..GR must be thoroughly into the scene to have pulled it off so convincingly .. Did he look mad in anger or what.. He was literally shaking with anger ! PHEW!!!
Kumud has found Saras finally...

What struck me about the whole birthday sequence was the honesty and sincerity of Saras, he wanted to do something special for this girl not only because he is in love with her, but because he also wants to show his appreciation for all she has done for him.
So he decides to make her dream come true
That's why I loved it when Kumud said "Mera sapna sach ho Gaya" , that's all, that's all she needed to say and thats all he needed to hear. Hats off to the writer who came up with this line!
And his gift, any material gift, after that would have been trivial, the roses and the kandil, were just the perfect way to seal this night! Again hats off to the CVs who came up with this.
And the show belonged to Gauti, so many emotions, so perfectly brought to life, his face transitioning naturally from one to the other, kya baat hai!
Having said that, over the last sequence, I agree with Shana there, it was a little rushed! Whereas the kandil scene was perfectly paced.
I think we are in for a roller coaster ride this week, and the CVs set the pace last night itself, hence the rush,
